He didn't look close to being the heavier puncher. He just wasn't able to hurt Bivol in a meaningful way, yet Bivol was able to snap his head time and time again.

I don't think he's too small for LHW. I just think Bivol beats him 10/10

Clen was a lot heavier than Floyd

Whereas he was roughly the same weight as Bivol give or take a few pounds but no more

Floyd was a lot more experienced at the world and especially the elite level than Clenelo

Whereas Clen is a lot more experienced at the world and elite level than Bivol is

Floyd was 36 and on the slide though

Whereas Clen and Bivol are both 31 and in their primes

But Bivol fought a better, much stronger, healthier and more experienced Clenelo than the one Floyd fought and it was his first fight on a stage of that magnitude

Check out those big uppercuts in rounds 1-4 by Canelo with Bivol against the ropes. He was clearly loading up and connecting hard, Bivol felt those, Bivol said today how much harder Canelo loads up on shots than Benavidez does.

Bivol : "Canelo was much better than I thought."

How's his power? "He's strong, he punch every time hard."

Say what you want, but that was an amazing fight. Truly fascinating on many levels. Canelo failed to dethrone Bivol, but man was it fun to watch. I would love to see a rematch, just from a purely entertainment standpoint. Two warriors, the best Super Middleweight in the World vs the Best Light Heavyweight in the World battling for Supremacy. What more could you ask for? This is a rarity in boxing. It was an amazing showcase of high level high impact boxing.

Of course Canelo punches hard, we know that already. Again you're trying to force a debate where one doesn't exist.

He didn't hurt Bivol in a meaningful way. He was hurt more than Bivol that fight.

But it doesn't matter either way, we all saw the same thing. A clear Bivol victory.

I'm just asking you straight up, how good were those uppercuts in Round 1-4? Those were tremendous. We agree that Canelo tired in the later rounds and Bivol won the mid and late rounds and got the W. Absolutely, but what a great fight and lets not trash Canelo for losing. He gave a hell of an effort against Bivol. He did very well in the early rounds and was connecting with big shots and putting punches together well. In the end he may have punched himself out a bit and wasn't able to do enough to win, but so what, he still came to fight and gave a great account of himself. I know he can do even better in the rematch pace himself better and get the job done next time. We have a lot to look forward to after a great fight like that.

Also to answer this question, looking at those uppercuts from Canelo in rounds 1-4, Canelo never landed shots with that kind of ferocity on Mayweather. Canelo Mayweather was more of a chess match. So while Mayweather and Bivol both had a good amount of success offensively landing on Canelo, clearly Canelo landed far heavier blows on Bivol than he landed on Mayweather like those brutal uppercuts in the early rounds. So Mayweather I guess you could say was more elusive and maybe did better defensively than Bivol overall against Canelo, but Canelo also didn't really load up on Mayweather early on in the fight and risk gassing late like he did against Bivol. Canelo definitely paced himself better against Mayweather and finished better I think we can say.

He landed some good uppercuts, he just didn't do near enough to win the fight.

I haven't trashed Canelo, he just came up against a fighter he couldn't beat.

I'd be astonished if Canelo beat Bivol in the rematch. Bivol controlled the fight too well for me to imagine it going the other way. But then again stranger things have happened.

Anybody who gave Canelo four rounds thinks he punches like a god. He was outpunched in every round, and compubox was even scoring punches on the glove for Canelo, in reality, he was outpunched like 3 to 1.

He wasn't outpuched in rounds 1-4 or round 9. Watch again. The better harder more eye catching shots were landed by Canelo in those rounds.

I don't think compubox is supposed to score punches to the gloves. That's a good question though to get some clarification on. Because Canelo certainly did a hell of a job targetting Bivol's bicep lol.

GGG easily won the first fight, everyone and their dog knows this.

Easily, Bivol. Bivol dominated this fight and actually put a hurting on Canelo. Mayweather dominated but didn't rally touch up and hurt Canelo like Bivol did.

Neither dominated Canelo, but Canelo landed brutal uppercuts on Bivol, he didn't land shots that hard on Mayweather.

Bivol ate those shots, they never affected him in any way, they didn't scare him or hurt him that bad. But I know when I look at Canelo's face, that's a face of a guy who got dominated.

He definitely got marked up, but that doesn't translate to being dominated. I mean, if we're calling being dominated by how marked up you are then you'd have to say Canelo dominated GGG in the rematch and no one would say that. Yes Bivol "beat up" Canelo, Canelo "beat up" GGG in their rematch, were marked up from taking some hard punches but neither was dominated.
