Who beat Canelo more convincingly: Mayweather, Golovkin the first time around or Bivol?

How did he not get dominated? He barely won 3 rounds imo. That's considered domination in boxing. Bivol controlled the whole fight, he hurt Canelo, Canelo did not hurt him. You must have watched a completely different fight.

Canelo was never seriously hurt. And he won more than 3 rounds. 1-4 + 9 were Canelo's. 1-4 were close and I know some people gave them to Bivol, but if we're honest, Canelo landed the harder shots in those rounds with those massive uppers, backing Bivol up and roughing him up along the ropes. So Bivol didn't clearly win 9 rounds or anything, maybe you could argue he won 9 but that's giving him multiple swing rounds, rounds that Canelo outpunched and outslugged him in.

What clean punching are you talking about? Canelo didn’t land a single flush shot to Bivol’s jaw, not one. He landed one uppercut grazing Bivol’s face and some shots to temple grazing from Bivol’s gloves. Even the bodyshots stopped being effective after a few rounds as Bivol started catching them with his elbows.

Bivol was the ring general, he had better defence, cleaner punching, better workrate, better accuracy. There’s no way was this a close fight, none.

You don't score rounds based on Compubox #s. Bivol was getting credit for a lot more punches than he actually landed, both by compubox and by the DAZN commentators. Also Canelo's jab %s are extremely low despite him apparently throwing a lot of jabs. And I don't think those include all the arm punches by Canelo. On several occasions, the commentators claimed that Bivol was scoring punches that were actually being blocked in real-time. But even still, the power punches landed were very even in those rounds according to compubox, and you can tell by watching the rounds that Canelo landed the harder heavier more eye catching shots in rounds 1-4. So outpunched / outslugged in terms of landing the heavier shots as opposed to being outpointed.

And my scores for the 3 fights in question:

    119-109 for Floyd over Canelo,
    116-112 for GGG(the first fight)
    117-111 for Bivol

Floyd made Canelo look the worst, made him look like an amateur. But Bivol inflicted more pain and fought the better version, so edge to him I guess.

Bivol outlanded Canelo 56-29 in the first four rounds, which is what I meant when I said "outpunched", I did give Canelo round 9 and I thought maybe the third was a tossup, but I scored it for Bivol. No way Canelo won the first two rounds, way outlanded (14-5 and 12-8). In power punches, Canelo didn't outland Bivol in a single round. Of course there's more to it than that, but Bivol was landing cleaner.

Pacquaio landed more punches on Mayweather than Clenelo landed on Bivol. But please tell me more your theories on how it was a close fight, I simply must hear them!

Apart from Mayweather jr., I could not believe that there will be anyone who could beat Canelo by decisions, but Bivol did. It surprised me a lot.

    Bivol beat a better version.

Canelo landed less punches on Bivol than he did Mayweather.

Yeah, here I disagree. Canelo has a fine jab, and it was MIA against Bivol. Instead Canelo was loading up on sweeping power shots that Bivol was largely avoiding or catching on arms and gloves. If there's one thing canelo can do in a rematch it would be to get his jab back into action and work something off that. I have no idea why he kept trying to land the uppercut. The uppercut is a great punch against GGG but a shitty punch against Bivol.

The uppercuts in rounds 1-4 on Bivol were tremendous, but rather than loading up on all the uppercuts he could have paced himself better and used the jab more for sure. The uppercut is a great punch on Bivol becusse that was the best way for him to land hard shots on Bivol's chin because he covers up so well. And Canelo is so good at throwing that uppercut when he loads up on it.
