GGG clearly won the first fight GGG won the second fight although it was slightly closer The Jacobs fight was the closest of them all, no great controversy though, it could have realistically went either way.
Neither beat him Convincingly. Any fight outcome with Canelo is pretty much pre determined if you can't KO him.. He beat Jabobs 116-112. Canelo he beat 115-113 first time & same again in second for me but I wouldn't argue with a draw for what Canelo brought that night... But GGG won the championship rounds which swayed it for me. Silly thread. Only convincing thing about Jacobs fight was he clearly lost & got jabbed to death. Nothing convincing about Canelos win* either.. It was far from it! Boxrec is where u belong..
GGG vs Jacobs: GGG won comfortably. GGG vs Canelo 1: GGG won very comfortably. GGG vs Canelo 2: GGG slightly edged it.
woah wait, the other guy was biased by pretending jacobs beat 3g, but thats no reason to join his bias, we should admit canelo beat 3g, or we are just as bad as him! come on have some respect guys.
i am the one urging 3g fans to be unbiased, dont join the fools, you make us fans look classless. insteas if you were a real 3g fan you would say, like me, that you are sure that 3g will win the rubbermatch to come ko canelo once and for all. not do sour grapes, you make us all look bad.
Ofc GGG beat them both but Ggg vs Jacobs was a 7-5 or 6-6 fight whereas both Canelo fights were 8-4 or 9-3
Boxing desperately needs a global boxing commission to evaluate close multi-million dollar fights in the aftermath, take 20 judges to analyse the fights and have them openly explain their verdict. I guess things would look different then, but boxing wants the controversy. That's why it's not really a truly professional global sport and will always look shady.
