cotto did more damage and softened paulie up for everyone after.

"i was way more hurt in the cotto fight and they didnt stop it..." -paulie

and yes hatton had the better win, for paulie was never in the fight for whatever reason/excuse.

Vs Cotto at 140 Hatton takes it. Any other weight Cotto for me.

The poster didn't ask why, or ask anything about Malignaggi, just who was more impressive, thats easy, Hatton. Malignaggi wanted no part of him in the later rounds, against Cotto however Paulie was still game.

Good point. I am not sure how much of Margarito's word we can take on this considering the guy seems to be insensitive to pain. This is the same guy who was eating Cintron's best shots and kept coming forward smiling, like he couldn't wait to take some more. I agree, most of Cotto's opponents look like they have been jumped by a gang of people.

In order for Pauli to win a round he had to out box Hatton for the entire 3 minutes of every round. He just didnt have any kind of power to swing momentum in his favor. He would outbox Hatton for 2 minutes then get clocked and hurt and whenever he tried to retaliate back, it had no affect on Hatton.

exactly. ricky didnt respect paulie b/c he had no pop what so ever.
and it was obvious that paulie was trying to time ricky for the left hook as he came forward..

it was a impressive win for the hitman although i didnt see much of a change under floyd sr.

    pac by KO.

Within only minutes of getting stopped by Ricky Hatton, Malignaggi was claiming he was "more hurt against Cotto." More injured maybe, because of the eye socket/checkbone fracture, but he was more hurt by Ricky Hatton. **** what Malignaggi's talking about, he has never been more hurt than he was in the 2nd round of the Hatton fight.

Abdulaev looked like he got beat up with a baseball bat. Literally. I know someone who got jumped by several people, one wielding a bat, and his face looked very much like that.

I thought you said that you say it as you see it?? Obviously not.

Paulie was on ***** Street a few times against Hatton and wasn't even in the fight after the first.

I thought Cotto-Malignaggi was a draw if you take away the first two rounds (Paulie was knocked down and suffered a head butt).

Hatton and Cotto are fated to fight one another. Very similar fighters. I might give a slight edge to Ricky (more heart) but it would be a great event for 2010.

i quickly referred to cotto b/c paulie was more hurt & took more punishment in that fight.

i then posted hatton had the better win b/c his performance was more dominating.

    anything else?

My point was that he was clearly hurt by Hatton......and on more than one occasion. I don't think the word 'vunerable' cuts it.
