Been a while since I saw either of those fights.

Who beat Porter more convincingly, Kell Brook or Keith Thurman?

    Thoughts?

I think Thurman, though I've seen that fight more recently. They were both pretty close fights if memory serves.

Brook for me. He did a much better job at keeping Porter at the end of his jab. And I think the scores were just a tad wider for him as well. People were giving Brook flack for holding too much, but as the fight progressed, Porter was the one who was initiating the clinches.

Brook hands down not even close. Thurman fight could have went either way

No sound on the Brook fight, but he definitely had better moments and was never really hurt, whereas Thurman was hurt and wobbled more than once. However, Thurman seems to hit a lot harder.

Thurman imo. He actually went toe to toe with Porter while Brook held on for dear life.

If I remember right the Thurman fight was razor close and could have honeslty just as easily went to Porter. Where as (also from memory) the Brook fight left little doubt Kell had won.

Brook, way more so in fact. Porter barely landed a clean shot on him and Porter got schooled down the stretch. All the rounds in Thurman-Porter was back and forth.

Brook had it much easier than Thurman, against Porter.

Definitely Kell Brook.. styles make fights and Thurman's style was more to Porter's liking, Which was why it was closer. I had Thurman winning 7-5. With Brook he controlled Porter with his jab and boxed him more, nuetrilizing a younger Porter. Today I think Porter has improved a little bit while Brook has declined, so in a rematch at 147 I think Porter beats him. I had Brook winning 8-4.

I don't remember seeing anyone say they thought Porter beat Thurman, so I'm not sure how that could have gone either way. Personally, I would take Thurman's performance against Porter.

Both were close fights to be honest, at least Thurman did it cleanly, Brook was just holding the whole fight.
