I think that there was no doubt in the Brook win but the fight with Thurman was a better fight.

I have to rewatch it again. I only watched Porter-Brook once. I felt it was a close but clear fight with both fighters having their moments.

Against Thurman I felt Thurman was always in control of the fight and the rounds Thurman won were clearer.

Brook and its not even close, I had Brook winning anywhere from 10-2 to 9-3, Thurman arguably lost to Porter, at best it was 7-5 for Keith and I'm a Thurman fanboy.

Brook easy, he was timing porter to perfection!

"Brook was just holding against Porter".

How does a man who probably outlanded Porter on jabs by 2/3 to 1 'just hold'?

Given how easy it is to get cut fighting Porter....Even Brook did! Holding is the correct thing to do.

As others have said, Brook seemed to have far greater control against Porter, than Porter/Thurman did at any point against each other in their fight.

Even from those two highlight clips you can see the difference.

When Porter engaged Brook, Brook found a way to first avoid, then counter, then slip away.

Thurman had no choice but to go toe to toe, which Porter wanted.

Brook asserted his style against Porter more convincingly than Thurman, who was forced to engage on Porter's terms.

Willing to bet those hating on Brooks 'holding', have no problem when the likes of Ward and Mayweather do it
