Hey you didnt include Golotta x2

I'd go with Bowe given he's beat the only top name, the rest of both resumes are quite close, which is funny considering Holyfield aside Bowe didnt face the best of the 90s

    I like Bowe's list better.

    Bowe.

He has two wins over Holyfield, and a razor thin loss also.

Plus the two wins over Golota

Take Evander out and you would say they are pretty much equal.... Klitschko maybe slightly ahead.

I thought it best to leave off the DQ wins over Golota. They would have been controversial.

So far I agree with everyone here in that the only thing that truly makes Bowe's resume stick out are the wins over Holyfield. Asside from those two victories, the names on both men's lists are fairly equal.

People say Bowe beat no one apart from Holyfield.
"All he's got on his resume is Holyfield" is a familiar protestation when his name comes up.

That says plenty about Vitali's resume.

I don't think that its a negative thing one way or the other. I'm not claiming that if we take away the Holyfield wins, that Bowe's resume is "bad" persay, and nor is Vitali's. All anyone is claiming is that asside from the Holy win, both men are fairly close to being equal. But, Bowe's wins over Evander elevate him above Klitschko.

I dont think their resumes are bad either. The opposition (aside from Holyfield) is ordinary, not awful. But Bowe certainly doesn't seem to get a look-in in the ATG lists even with his wins over Holyfield, so that says something about how he'd be viewed without them.

Vitali, on the other hand, I dont know. He's a good fighter, very good. But I get the impression some people are actually already building him up as some ATG despite the relative weakness of his resume.

I agree that Holyfield gives the nod to Bowe.

Bowe was saved by the ref in the 2nd round of the 2nd fight with Golota. Schooled twice by Golota. Says it all, really.
