Who beat the Best Version of Margarito

Most of us aren't stupid, and don't need "proof." It's pretty obvious.

 

How is it obvious?

 

That you would have so many votes for Pacquaio shows the rabbidity and the blind euphoric stupidity of the rabbid Pac fiends. The Margarito that Pac fought was trash. The Margarito that fought Williams was probably the best. The Margarito that fought Santos, is probably comparable to the one that fought Williams but the fight was not at welterweight, and Santos outweighed Margarito by 10 pounds in the ring. Margarito's effectiveness goes down the drain when he is in there with guys that much bigger (Santos)

 

If you have to ask .......

 

I can only judge it pre-mosley as the best version of Margo had plaster hands. After that he's had his ass handed to him twice. Therefore I went with Williams.

 

Margarito fought Cotto in Nevada not California. Different athletic commission, different procedures. NSAC officials provide the tape and gauze for fighters to wrap their hands unlike the CSAC at the time of the Mosley/Margarito fight. HBO made a big deal about showing Margarito's wraps from previous fights, but even Nazim Richardson said that they looked normal and that it didn't prove he cheated then. Like I wrote before, there's no evidence whatsoever that Margo cheated against Cotto.

 

Well many will disagree including Margarito who himself said the Mosley fight was too soon. He admitted the Cotto fight was very brutal and needed time to heal.
