The 2004 version of Corrie Sanders Vitali beat, or the 2000 version of Chris Byrd that Wladimir beat?
Interesting question and a potential oxymoron. Byrd had an undeniably better career than Sanders despite his lack of power/general size disadvantage and is a good name to have on your ledger. But he was never going to beat Wlad Klitschko in a million years, and although I was confident that Vitali would beat Sanders, it WAS Sanders who presented a greater threat to both brothers at the time. So despite the fact that Sanders was overweight and generally overrated, he at least brought respectable skills AND power to the table, whereas Byrd brought the former but not the latter. WK looked better dismantling Byrd than VK did dismantling Sanders, but I think VK's was perhaps the better win.
