I think Joshua. Even if Fury beat more expirienced version of Dillian it was Whyte after 2 hard KO (Joshua & Povetkin) and after few hard war (Chisora for example). This version of Joshua fight was fresh and not afraid of anything. Fury version was one fight after dramatic KO from Povetkin. And I think VADA can make Whyte less dangerous in his WBC fight. Soo for me Joshua. I dont like how Whyte look in Fury fight. He disaponted me then. Not because I think he can win but for sure he got pretty good atributes to make this fight harder for Fury but he looks like he even dont want try after all this talk...
Technically Fury because Whyte was actually ranked when Fury beat him. But heres a few things to consider..... Whilst Joshua beat a greener version of Whyte he was definitely more fresher. Whyte had been KO'ed twice brutally and gone through hard fights when he finally met Fury, and realistically shouldn't of been ranked that high after a shot Povetkin sent him to the shadow realm.
Has to be Fury. When AJ fought him he was an unknown quantity with very limited experience and fought absolutely nobody.
When Joshua beat Whyte he was a novice going through the ranks, when Fury beat him he was the WBC mandatory as well as holding high rankings with the other sanctioning bodies. Joshua and Whyte will fight again this year just watch and despite all those that give Fury criticism on here for fighting him even though Fury would have been stripped if he had not fought him,it will be totally different reception when Joshua fights him .
Joshua. I wasn't overly impressed with Fury shoving Whyte to the canvas, either. Seemed to get a pass, for some reason.
It probably would’ve been worse for Whyte if Fury had followed through with a left hook instead of the shove.
I think it's a close call. I'm voting Fury did. One reason is that AJ has become some uber golden child again (as opposed to his normal golden child status) based on his 4 straight "should have won" wins. That, and Fury has been getting too much criticism regarding Usyk. Too many top HW fights have not been made for many years to single out Fury for delays vs. Oleksandr. As for Whyte, currently he looks near Joyce level. I'm closer to Usyk in some ways, and wouldn't mind seeing him win. But I almost hope Fury wins - in a competitive manner - for other reasons.
AJ beat a compromised Whyte who was hampered by a very serious shoulder injury. Even during Whyte's post-fight interview for his previous fight he mentioned his shoulder injury and he had to undergo surgery on it a few days after the AJ fight https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/b...ainst-Anthony-Joshua-nearly-ended-career.html Yes AJ beat a greener Whyte but to be fair he was also greener too
