lol Pianeta, cancer patient and failed sparring partner. Historic new lows achievable only on planet K.

I'm English and Lewis is a tosser. He is reviled because he is a arrogant and overrated, and his best wins were all against washed up greats who went on to lose to bums. Tyson beat a lot of good guys in their prime.

Frank Bruno was schooling Lewis until he threw a wild, desperate swing and hit the jackpot. Says it all really.

You obviously just checked boxing record and never saw the "fight." McCall was standing defenseless with his hands down at his sides and Lewis couldn't even stagger him, let alone stop him.

The ref called off the fight because McCall was letting Lewis hit him without defending himself. Thus, saving Lewis from being knocked out by a guy going through withdrawals.

Yes, McCall came out of rehab, had a nervous breakdown within the ring. Lewis still hit with his best punches, could not even stagger McCall. I blame it all on Don King for making McCall come out of rehab early...............

:deal McCall was standing in front of Lewis like a sitting duck with his guard down. Lewis dropped consecutive 1-2 bombs straight on McCalls chin and he didn't budge.

I've got nothing against Lewis but the McCall rematch should have been a NC. I'm sure one could successfully argue in court he was "temporarily insane" for standing defenseless and crying whilst an ATG boxer unloaded power punches on him. I actually have to question Lewis' ethics for trying to knock out a man suffering a nervous breakdown in front of him.

    Yes, I agree.

Don King should be questioned also.....................

I might be wrong but to me it looked like McCall was forced to lose but became desperate during the fight because he wanted to win and knew he could win.
I mean DK was involved, there is always a chance of something fishy going on.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you're wrong. What did DK have to gain by Lewis winning? Nothing. LL would never sign with him.

Only gain would be that it would have been a safe bet against McCall, possible but maybe unlikely.
I just don't understand how anyone would, even after rehab, come to a fight and all of a sudden refuse to fight after 3 rounds, then cry like a baby as if he realized that boxing is not his sport, just too strange.
Is there any article or explanation from McCall himself why he acted like this or maybe we have a crack addict here who can explain this?

The question is bad posed, because Lennox got beat in two rounds by the best, or one of the best forms, of Mc Call; the Mc Call lennox wasn't able to hurt in spite of being just a walking punching ball was the rehab one, so, in fact, lennox never beat Mc Call in a real match.

Sadly, that's pretty much the summary of that fight.

If you are the greatest heavyweight you are also the best. There is no room for anyone else at the top.
