Are we assuming that he always had a glass jaw or do we attribute it to age and the weight drain after the Ruiz fight?

Factor in the fact that nobody ever reached the jaw to find out if it was glass during his prime, so it's an unknown. Any candidate would have to have the speed to find it and the power to test it.

Fair enough. I wouldn't favor any modern fighter over a 190-lb Roy. Edit: Maybe Spinks? I think he outboxes young Holyfield.

BTW, I don't think Marciano touches his jaw (sorry, Suzie).

I forgot Holyfield , and maybe both Spinks!
Qawi would give him an uncomfortable night but lose.

Hmm....not often if ever I disagree with mcvey on boxing matters but....prime Roy could easily stay away from a few on that list and pretty much not get hit all fight.
Tunney hadn't the minerals for the Superman in full flight....would've been overwhelmed IMO.

Your opinion is as valid as mine. Jones beat who at 175-190lbs?

I'm more than surprised you have got Marciano on that list Mac. I see him missing and falling over at least 3 times in the fight with his balance, and as for the fighting out of a crouch cobblers. No way would that bother Jones. He could throw that triple left hook from waist height just as easily as shoulder height.

Tbh I don't see any of them finding that chin. It isn't as if Jones is going to stand and trade with those guys. He will simply fight off the back foot, with fast combo's and move away, rinse and repeat.
