"Quite simply NONE of those men AT THAT TIME could have laid a glove on Jones, and he would have punched them for fun.
    "

Have you even watched these men on film?

Obviously, and particularly their efforts against Marciano. If you think Jones at his 175 peak wouldn't have absolutely humiliated and destroyed those guys and in quicker time, then the real question is have you EVER seen Jones fight?

Jones punched hard and fast enough to keep any of those men honest. Even if you are gullible enough to believe they could nullify his speed with a good jab, or his athleticism by cleverly cutting off the ring, how the hell are they going to handle his reflexes? Looking at those fights, including Marciano's own performances, was like watching a slo mo replay of some of the Jones fights from Griffin 2 up until Ruiz.

You seem to have no clue as to what you are talking about.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    How desperate are you?

Charles was actually 20 days short of his 33rd birthday the FIRST time he fought Marciano.

And yeah, Moore was a veritable spring chicken at less than 3 months short of 39.

Spare me what Moore went on to do, because I'm not interested. 1 year 2 months later having fought tomato cans and a wrestler, sparked by Patterson. Did very well against Durelle fought King 6 times, drew with Pastrano, then destroyed by Ali.

People love to hate Roy, but he'd have EMBARRASSED a TON of "Legends", whether people want to admit it or not.

He was that good, and you know it.

Not even close. 65 million people cussed Eubank on a regular basis! And in America he was seen as a despicable devil, Floyd Jr is seen as a God.

I'm with you. He didn't have the best resume but his skill and physical talent speak for themselves. I'd bet money on his absolutely embarrassing at least half the guys who've been named in this thread. Some folks around here seem a bit too inclined to dismiss the physical gifts of recent fighters, imo (no offense to any of you).

Foster without question. Certain people dismissing this, seriously need their head tested and possible lockdown in a head hospital; Foster with those bricks tonne-like gloves it seemed would bomber him out.

What about what Moore previously did? Knock out Harold Johnson, bob baker and defeat 6'3 215lb number 1 rated Nino valdes. Moore cleaned out the division prior to fighting Marciano

This is what Moore was looking like leading into the Marciano fight. Moore looked great

You are digging your own hole even deeper. I am not even going to bother to post clips of Jones fighting at 175. You will just have to accept that those clips look like slo mo versions of Jones at his best, or go watch some of his fights yourself. Quite simply he just wouldn't be there standing in front of those guys slowly circling to the left trying to find openings.

Faced with him they wouldn't know whether they were on this earth or Fuller's. I already told you, to beat Jones you need a 175 version of the 147 Leonard, who can match him for speed, athleticism, and reflexes, and even then it isn't a given.

We all know there are guys who can knock him out like Foster, but they have to land, they have to get past those incredible reflexes, that were almost cat like, and would allow him to hit the guy 4, 5 times on the way in. Or they would need an iron chin, coupled with great speed of hand and foot of their own.
