Which other heavyweights throughout history do you see beating the Ali of the first Frazier fight?

I tend to agree with most of you that pre-prison Ali was basically unbeatable but after when he came back and had slowed down a bit who do you see having a shot at taking him?

Joe Louis. Rocky Marciano has a chance because of styles.

Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe, the Klitschko's, Fury, Usyk, Holmes, prime Liston. There are several other candidates, but it's no guarantee, so I'm sticking to these guys.

He was very beatable in his prime too.

You left out Buster Douglas from your line up. 42 to 1 odds against Tyson...my guess it would have been 20 to 1 against Ali.

Holyfield maybe. Tyson definitely not. Not Fury either. Lewis maybe. Bowe.. slight chance.. he'd definitely be there at the end.. and you really don't want Bowe to be there at the end.. he was pulverizing. Klitschko no. Usyk I don't think so.. he'd couldn't knock Ali down like Frazier did.

Holyfield and Lewis is about it.

In a 15 round fight like in '71? Hard to think of any.

A guy like Ali has trouble against the great "swarmers"...Marciano...Frazier...Jack Dempsey! Prime Ali....(1963-1967) was not unhittable...no matter what the "revisionists" say or think!

In a way perhaps, but Holmes had better fundamentals than Ali.
