Beat Calzaghe? Ha! I thought it was a well known fact that anytime there are head to head fantasy matchups the correct answer is always Calzaghe.

Dirrell has the skills to give him the most trouble but he's too one dimensional to beat Calzaghe.

 

Why, because after checking boxrec, you said to yourself that if a judge was wrong enough to give it to Hopkins, you had a point claiming it was a robbery ?

Calzaghe won an awfully painful fight to watch. It's all that has to be remembered.

I don't think any of todays SMW's beat him. Ward doesn't have enough power to trouble Calzaghe who will almost certainly outwork him. It would be an ugly as **** fight. Similar to Hopkins Calzaghe (which i would say was a close but clear win for Calzaghe). Direll has no heart whatsoever. After being punished for several rounds he would mentally quit and probably throw. Call Calzaghe slappy or whatever you want but Lacy didn't look like a man who had been slapped.
Froch is tough as hell, but so is Calzaghe. Calzaghe is fast, better technically with a higher workrate. Wins clear in a rough-house match up.

I think Calzaghe is a H2H nightmare for anyone and would beat all todays SMW.
