I sure as hell hope not. Oscar can't knock him out with 1 punch anyway. Floyd tasted the left hook in the last round when they finally did exchange for the last 10 seconds. Oscar was very defensive in that fight too though. Don't blame it all on Floyd.

Easy the same problems Oscar had in May would be maginfied by 10. PBF was a much better fighter at 140 than he is now. Oscar would still get beaten to the punch countered and still would have found PBF a hard target to hit not to mention he still would have faded down the stretch on cue.:deal Oscar has always had touble with speedy, defensive fighters at 147 or 140 it makes no difference.

Really? I was completely unaware that I thought Oscar never lost. I was pretty sure that he has.

JCC would have been outboxed much like he was against Pea. I just don't see JCC beating PBF at that weight. You need more than pressure to beat PBF. Another thing people fail to realize is that PBF is the bigger and stronger man of the two.

You are talking out of your ass. First of all... Floyd didn't fight anyone at 140 who can be used an example as a big win. So, wins over a few guys that Floyd was supposed to embarrass doesn't exactly mean that he was better... just because it was so easy to look good. Hell... even in one of those three fights, Floyd was badly buzzed by Corley.

Now, Oscar had only fought twice at 140. One of those fights was against the WBC Champion, and legend Julio Ceasar Chavez. The other was against an undefeated fighter (41-0) in Miguel Angel Gonzalez. Oscar looked GREAT against both of them.... and that was against great competition.

So, considering that in Floyd's three fights... he beat Corley, Bruseles, and Gatti... and managed to get buzzed pretty bad against Corley... and Oscar looked great, and just about flawless agianst a top pd 4 pd fighter, ATG, and Champion in Chavez... and an undefeated fighter in Gonzalez... Coupled with the fact that a much older Oscar, came into the ring against Mayweather after having only fought once in the past 2 1/2 years... a torn rotator cuff, and forearm form the Mayorga fight... and a ton of ring rust... and fought a CLOSE fight against a Prime Mayweather.

I would say that you are talking out of your ass. Mayweather looks as good at 147 as he has ever looked. This is a natural weight for him, and he said that himself. He used to starve himself for days to make weight at 130, and 135. He admited that he couldn't make 135 again if he had to.

    Oscar beats Floyd at 140.

Wow, in your mind all JCC had was pressure?:patsch I guess that shows your ignorance. Meldrick Taylor is still suffering the after effects of what you label as "just pressure".

You're the one talking out of your ass. Chavez was damn near shot when he faced Oscar. The man had been in many wars and was an old 33 when he fought Oscar.

PBF best weight isn't 147 he's grown into that weightclass but he'll always be underdsized there. He was much better at 140 and had more power as well and where he retains his hanspeed and footspeed which is noticeably slower than at 147. He may be a smarter fighter now because he has to with his body breaking down but at 140 he was better.

He had more than pressure but it still wouldn't be enough. Do you honestly think JCC could outbox PBF?:patsch Hell he was getteing outboxed by Taylor and down on the scorcards until he stopped Taylor in the last round. How else would he win because he isn't going to KO PBF. Please don't compare Taylor with PBF. PBF is much smarter than Taylor has better defence and chin than Taylor ever had.

You're right, also, 140 was a weight range where no one could take his left hand without crumbling in round 2 or round 3. Maybe this is what gave him stamina problems later, that he ended his fights so early.
