Who beats GGG ?

Would Floyd be too fast and steal a narrow points decision like SRL vs Hagler

 

golovkin beats everybody , he will clean out 2 divisions over next 3-4 years , just watch and enjoy !!

 

I think a few beat golvokin. At the start didnt see what the fuss was about...but then the more you watch him his footworks incredible...probably the best ring cutter off about. Lets be honest here he's a nightmare for anyone. Quite an unusual style.

I d take mayweather of a few years ago to beat him tho even giving away the weight...not now tho stays on the ropes too long. Legs wouldnt be good enough for it. But i think the boxer/mover style with a good bit of power beats him. And thats what floyd is/was...he has power for sure.

As much as i m not keen on froch as a fighter...i think he has a very good chance after tonite i would take that fight if i was carl. Carl can hit. His biggest problem is landing a clean blow. And i dont think golvokins will stay out of the way of them. Plus the weight/strength advantage. I couldnt see froch backing up to the ropes easily.

I think groves style would give golovkin massive problems as well its just a shame hes doesnt have the endurance/resistance to keep ggg off. Would end up a massacre.

GGG's the goods...but there's definetely kryptonite out there for his style. HBO hyping him and everyones buying into it. He is tremendous just not as good as most are making out. Everyone wondering if murray was gonna last 4 rounds tonite. Murrays a good fighter tbf. Take my hat off to his performance...stayed in their, never quit and also fired back and fought to a good game plan...or as good as it could have been. We all know he was mismatched. But he should come out of this with his head held high.

No one at the current weight beats golvokin tho...cotto might be interesting but dont think cotto has the style for it.

 

Kovalev would give him a lot of trouble but he's at light heavy so it's probably out of the question they would ever fight.


Golovkin beats Andre Ward and knocks him out i think. I don't think Ward can handle that style.


I'm not too convinced about Froch. But it takes one punch and if he can land a perfect one like he did to Groves then i could see him winning it in that fashion but he isn't outboxing Golovkin.

 

Andre Ward would beat him and i think Froch would have a good chance as well.

Golovkin vs Ward would be a superfight, for me bigger than mayweather pacman. Golovkin could potentially find the angles to get through Wards great defence.

 

I genuinely believe people are getting carried away with golvokin. He is quality theres no way of arguing with that. But he has his share of weaknesses. Not every boxer can jump the weights like mayweather and pacman have. I think they re speed played a massive part in it. Speed that golvokin doesnt have. At some point hes gonna have to slug it out with someone bigger and stronger than him. I think because golvokins strengths are up there with anyone or above anyone ie cutting off the ring, power etc, closing the gap, moving people to where he wants them to go people forget about his weaknesses. Gets hit too much, for all the free shots he had at murray he struggled to finish him mainly down to murray. But the bigger men would be able to take it. Golvokin tremendous at what he does but hes no mayweather/pacman in the making. I think because its a great style people get carried away. Like how they all done with matthyse to a point. Obviously on a different level and golvokin the much better fighter but the same kind of thinking.

 

Murray went 11 rounds with him last night yet Froch would be destroyed? Ok then. atsch

Floyd isn't moving up to face GGG, let's be serious. And IF some how, some way he decided too then he gets stopped - GGG is too big and too powerful.

Someone slick who could keep him on the edge of a decent jab for twelve rounds,he is impressive,the day will come when he takes an opponent lightly,maybe skips some training,struggles with a style,he has enormous potential to become great,these day you achieve greatness by moving around the weights and thats where the tests will come,an on form Ward certainly is capable of keeping him at a distance
Lets hope the fight is made...
