Sam Langford at his best weight, 175lbs [according to Moyle ,who will do for me,] who beats him?

    Possibilities would include;
    Fitzsimmons
    Moore
    Foster
    Conn
    Tunney
    Charles
    Spinks
    Johnson
    Choynski?
    etc
But who would you bet on,[if anyone ,]to turn the trick?

I think Fitz and Charles. If Conn can handle Louis for 13, maybe him.

Though I think he could beat or lose to most of them.

I think he ko's Spinks but he has a shot with that herky jerky movement.

I think Kovalev is far too mentally weak to beat any of the greats.

So much of being great is finding a way to win, even when you shouldn't, Kovalev is nearly the opposite.

    Mike Spinks I reckon.

Although Langford could conceivably trap and spark any LHW that ever lived methinks.

I think this is almost a moot question unless it takes place under a hybrid rule set, with each fighter getting a year to practice under the rule set of his opponent.

I think this may be problematic for fighters like Greb and Langford who would spend a year been very distracted by Netflix and YouTube binge watching for example. I think it would be a shock for them to be confronted with so much new technology.

i think that there would be some sort of issue, getting the best possible version of Langford under 175, or perhaps not with modern practices.

Perhaps on that basis, Conn or Charles would beat him.
