To be truthful I don't think anyone could have beat him at that weight. Especially the mayweather that fought gatti. What are your thoughts

Maybe Pryor, but I wouldn't give him that much of a chance!

Gatti for all ofhis toughness wasn't a special fighter.Prior to his lost to Mayweather he'd lost to Delahoya, twice to Robinson (Ivan) and to Manfredy. He was taylor made for Mayweather. A blind man could see that, most A.T.G's between 135 and 145 do the same thing to him. (Gatti). Fortunate for Mayweather their hasn't been that many fighters at 140 that was truly special. But between 135 or 145 I can think of at least 8-10 fighters in my opinion beat Mayweather. Most fighters just didn't stay around the 140 area for very long. The money was at welterweight or lightweight. So yeah very few fighters (probably only one Pryor. )beat Mayweather at that weight, but it isn't saying that much esp when we look at the history of that division.

Pryor has a HUGE chance. He is perpetual motion whose pressure, punch output and accuracy is on par with the legendary Henry Armstrong. Plus throw into the mix he has a iron chin, there might be a few flash knockdowns along the way but Pryor roared back to flatten anyone he faced. It is Mayweather who will have the hard time winning a decision in this match up. On the ropes will not be easy given Pryor's volume and Pryor could really box as well. I mean jab, move and be defensive elusive at the highest level and anytime in the bout.

And Pryor is as crazy as a fox! Pryor was so reckless and proud, the build up to this fight would be great.

The showboating that Mayweather is in for will be nuts. Take the Dujuan Johnson fight, Pryor was absolutely stupid, the strutting the pea ****ing but he backed all that up. Pryor is arguably one of the greatest finishers in any weight class. FMJ is in for one heck of a fight.

I personally don't like judging fighters at a weight they didn't campaign consistently at.

In theory I reckon Floyd and Pac could well be two of the best ever to lace em up at 140 but then where do you draw the line?

Pea fought there once. Armstrong and Robinson had fights beneath 140 as did Duran.

It gets a bit silly at that point for me.

Lots of fighters beat Mayweather at 140. Gatti was tough but pretty **** as well tbh. Dozens of past fighters beat Gatti relatively easily. I'm talking the ones who could fight at 140 not just the ones who did.

I actually think Tszyu would have a reasonable chance. At his prime, he was very accurate, hit hard as hell and was an underrated technician. I'd make Floyd the favorite but Floyd didn't really fight anyone like Tszyu.
