Who beats Paul Williams between 147 and 160?

Not to mention 3 straight KO's in 3 divisions! Something Margarito wouldn't and couldn't do!:bbb

The second fight doesn't mean that he wasn't beaten up by Quin who was the better man that night and won that fight.So you cant take that win alway from him he gave Williams he's first lost.

And if we come to that of making excuses than i will say that Quin look terrible in their second fightatsch

 

I don't give a **** how busy Margarito is. PW is gonna fight other fighters now. He ain't really worried about Margo. BUT, don't play stupid, cause you ain't no stupid dude. And as far as the whining, not every fighter does that **** when they lose. Tony is a whiner, and his fans are just as bad. If the fight was really that ****in painless and easy where all he has to do is "Start earlier", then he should have taken the easy $4M payday and "started earlier"

I'm not defending anyone. I just know bull**** when I see it. You see, you and some others like to act as if there are a TON of Margarito fans who hate Williams. First of all, there aren't even many posters who are big fans of Margarito. And second, some are even Williams fans, as I am.

No one, including PW himself, is trying to take that win away from Carlos. He earned it. All anyone is saying is that PW came back the second fight and did exactly what he should have done the ifrst fight. Fight tall and wait for the perfect opportunity to attack.

Why do you try so hard to hold that fight against PW when he has fought 4 times since then? You don't think he has gained valuable experience and made improvements?

But the fact is, Quintana DID beat him. And Williams avenging it doesn't erase it at all.

There is more Margo nut-huggers who make lame ass excuses for they're guy than any other fighter at ESB. Paul Williams didn't whine like a little punk when he got beat. He went out and got his title back which Margarito won't do. Paul had to chase Margarito down for the first fight, it's no surprise Margarito won't fight him now after he lost to the Punisher.

This is just total bull****. More then any other fighter? You're the type of poster who will say anything no matter how asinine. DO you even know how to discuss the BOXING portion, or are you here just to talk about fans and what they say? Seems that's all you can do.

 

If Winky can still fight at the level he was at when he fought Jermain Taylor, he will beat Williams handily. Of course none of us really knows if Winky can still rise to that level.

Paul Williams has two very serious problems against Pavlik. 1) He doesn't keep his hands up, and he has a habit of carrying his right very low. 2) He does not fight tall, or use his enormous reach effectively. That combination means Pavlik could probably make the double-jab/right hand work. No opponent against whom he has made that work ever saw the 10th round, most never saw the 9th. There is a very good chance that Paul would take the kind of beating that ruins fighters.

I've been watching quite a bit of video of Abraham lately. I honestly think Paul would have a good chance of out working and out boxing Arthur. However, Paul is often open to right hands, and 12 rounds is a long time to avoid an Abraham bomb. This is 50/50.

Considering that PBF is retired, and Williams already beat Margo once, I'd have a hard time picking anyone at 147 or 154 to beat Paul.

 

PW's defense needs improvements. If Verno was able to counter him, theres problems.
