Agree with all your picks, though I think with the right gameplan Liston could manage a victory over Mike aswell
Berbick wins so hard he knocks Tyson down three times with one punch, instead of the usual other way around. You people picking Tyson are out of your tree. This guy beat Muhammad Ali & literally walked away from a flying Larry Holmes jump kick.
No chance on earth you were gonna miss that!!!! P.S. Take note that northpaw hasn't "liked" your post
They do these types of (indecent?) “proposals” at big sporting events - first time I’ve seen one on a public forum, let alone one that centres on boxing. Now @northpaw has truly been put on the spot. Will it be a gleeful Yes or a regretful No? I can barely breathe myself waiting for the answer. Stay tuned on....Swag Wants A Partner.
I'm scared Northy might never return!!! Heck, he might be still sitting there staring at his screen in shock. Did they ever film "Indecent Proposal" Part 2? They could actually make it about a real proposal and still safely label it "indecent". Mind you i have nothing against the original. I took my at the time girlfriend to it, or should i say she took me to it. It could have played every week and she could have dragged me along to all of them as the after, after credits were well worth sitting thru the film for. The vast majority of those that went with their girl to it will know exactly what i am banging on about. But back to Swags ever important criteria.... 1. Must love Cleveland Williams...unconditionally 2. See 1 3. See 2 4. See 3 5. See 4 You get the point!
Prime Holmes would be a massive chance. I think his unwordly jab frustrates the hell out of Mike. I'm not saying Homes wins for sure but he's in that fight big time.
yes, but it was still in the 1970s and Berbick was green. After that, no one could actually move him. Tate, C.Williams, Buster, Bey, Foster, Rahman... in these last fights he was in his 40s. Prime Holmes didn't even wobble him for 15 rounds. But there was a form of joke in my post. Of course I don't think Berbick would have won against Tyson. I rate his chances a little lower than Holmes or Louis and much lower than Liston or Foreman. It's all fantasy anyway.
Foreman can bench press a cow. Did Tyson* ever bench press a cow? I rest my case. *Tyson Fury can eat a cow, but that's another matter.
I have a better question , which hof's did "Iron" Mike conquer, besides a petrifies light Heavy Spinks, and over the hill twice Holmes. Whats his record (50-6-1) how many times he get off the deck or quit on his stool to a fighter not in the top 200 in his own division?
