Who beats Saunders at 160?

All three were close fights in the end, unless your someone who can't score, which given the quality of your posts, you probably can't.

If i'm being honest, i can't remember exactly how i scored the Ryder fight.

Eubank fight was what it was, Saunders boxing and moving for 7 rounds, then gassing and taking the next 5 off.

Lee fight was similar, after the knockdowns Saunders took his foot off the pedal. Whilst he was less active after the 3rd, he was still having his moments, and Lee wasn't really pressing.

I still had Saunders winning both by a couple of points.

As for the Eubank rematch, what can Eubank do differently ?

Eubank's supposed power is a myth.

He was blowing out of his backend against Spike, and Spike was doing nothing.

Had Spike not been to the bookies, the remaining rounds could have been interesting.

Saunders is a very very good boxer, he can make adjustments.

Eubank is very very crude, seems reliant on power that he doesn't have, throws the same left cross, right uppercut combo continually, and will be found wanting against anybody with skill and movement. He's also very easy to hit, and against a puncher, his so far tough chin could come unstuck

Will be interesting to see how he does against Blackwell. Him and Senior seem to be looking past that fight, i think he's being extremely complacent.

 

I think Eubank will do everything differently and will outbox BJ Saunders and win with a wide points decision. If anyone had learnt since their first fight then Eubank has more than BJS. I find BJS a boring fighter to watch too but he hasn't anything else to show in his locker now whereas Eubanks has and that's why I think he will go further in his career. Let's be honest BJS took the title off a poor World Champ. Hats off to BJS though for sticking with Warden as he must have seen many leave and wondered why.

 

Great theory, the problem is that Eubank cannot box !!

In terms of skill and technical ability, Eubank couldn't lace Saunders protector.

 

If they go ahead with Blackwell there's no way they'll overlook him - Jr knows how just how strong and tough Blackwell is from the many rounds of sparring.

 

Blackwell could turn out to be the 'Michael Watson' of Juniors career.

 

Guess we will just have to wait and see. What is a guarantee now though is the public have more interest in Eubs than BJS even if he just ties up laces.

Casuals will always show an interest in people like Eubank. He's the son of a fighter who's persona put him in the front pages of the rags.

Juniors face being in the limelight has more to do with who his Father is, than his boxing ability.

My workplace and local are full of casuals telling me how Joshua and Eubank are unbeatable, but ask them who Saunders, DeGale, Selby, Smith, Crolla, etc etc are, and they wouldn't have a clue.

I wouldn't place any value on a poster who said in one comment CEJ was 'blowing out of his backend' against Spike and in his very next comment cited Eubank's 'engine' as being one of his two positive attributes. Make your mind up, dude!

 

I wouldn't place any value on a poster with 56 post's, who thought Eubank a serious threat to the likes of Golovkin.

Against Saunders, his fans were saying how he took the first 6 or 7 rounds off, and in a rematch would start faster.

Yet against Spike, he was blowing out of his **** in the last couple of rounds, and Spike had been to the bookies and was doing nothing.
