Fury, at 245 pounds, has the best chance out of anyone of defeating Usyk.

How do you know you weren't foremost among the standup exceptions?

    (Thanks for the kind words.)

I think where he goes wrong is that most of us who are fans of one like the other as well. In many ways they are opposite men: one clean, humble, hard-working and soft-spoken, the other turbulent and braggadocios. But both bring vast talent, a unique style, and reservoirs of self-confidence and guts.

Part of me doesn't want the fight because I don't want to see either man lose. I strongly think at this point Usyk wins it. Fury looked great against a converted MMA fighter...and no disrespect to Dillian, who more than earned the shot, but that is what he is. Usyk is a different story, And I don't know how Fury is going to react when Usyk goes super-sayan and throws 900-1000 punches from a southpaw stance like he did against Gassiev.

But that is the nature of the game: somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. And another part of me wishes we could bypass Joshua, never mind the retirement talk, and get is signed tomorrow.

Right now nobody. He is just too skilled and experienced for this HW generation.

And that is not a good thing. I want more competition and rivalty.

I’m a fan of both Usyk and Fury. I think Usyk will box his head off. Only thing I’m afraid of is the fight not happening (or Fury v Joshua if Joshua wins). If it happens and Fury wins I’ll be happy, because it happened and we got to crown a proper champion.

Tyson Fury can, but unfortunately for us we'll probably never get to see that fight because he wants to ride off into the sunset for some reason. There's still one more guy to beat with the other 3 belts, why would he not wanna fight for the chance to be the 1st undisputed champion in the HW division in the 4 belt era? It doesn't make any sense.

No one, I think Usyk is the most talented boxer of this generation. Fury will lose to him on points imo. He's too quick, too slick and too smart. And with the Ukraine situation, he's only gonna become more cold blooded.

Usyk has ONE signature win at Heavyweight over Joshua with all his flaws, poor corner and wrong game plan. Usyk is a class operator with a great skill set but too much is being made of him up at Heavyweight with this win over Joshua. Fury would big man him, maul, ragdoll him about to negate his skills and tire him out then stop him.

Tyson Fury: "Believe it or not, this is gonna sound strange – Cunningham was the hardest fight I ever did have in my whole career, amateur or professional. The reason being he was very slippery. The way I explain Cunningham – it was like a Conger Eel all full of oil in front of me. I couldn’t pin him down. He was light on his feet, he was weighing 208lbs or something. He was a three-time cruiserweight champion and then he stepped up into the heavyweights. He was a slick, talented boxer and I tried to walk him down using my size and power, but he was just outboxing me. What I’m good at – boxing, moving, slipping and sliding – I couldn’t do against Steve Cunningham because he was quicker than me. It was like he was a better boxer all round than me. I couldn’t do nothing with him, and he knocked me over even though he was a light puncher supposedly. I walked right onto it, it came from the back of the hall, big overhand right, right on the chin [...] So I got up, I just went straight forward at him, no more boxing now. You might be ahead on points, but sooner or later I’m gonna get you. And I did, in round seven I felt him going weak because I was pushing him back. After he got tired I hit him with a heavy body shot in round seven and he didn’t recover and then I pushed his head back and knocked him clean out with a right hand. That was the only time he was ever knocked out in his career, even to today. I’m not gonna make any excuses, Steve Cunningham was a better boxer than me.”

I read he lost 10kg shortly after the outbreak of war, regrettably (and there are of course bigger issues here), with the obvious impact of this terrible war on his physical & mental fitness, given his age I'm not sure we'll see the Joshua version of Usky in a HW ring again.

I feel the war beat Usyk. Je lost weight, looks depressed and old compared to the normal cheerefull fighter.
I think AJ will beat him due to this and he isnt the same guy as before.
