The Gomez of 77-80 was a savage. Who would you favor over a peak Gomez?

I don't think you can favor anyone. But Morales has the best chance to beat him. This one is easy.

I wouldn't favour him but Jeff Fenech has a real shot.

He was big and ridiculously strong for the weight and possessed an amazing workrate.

I think Gomez's massive power would be the difference but if Fenech could endure it (and his chin looked solid under 130) then I could see him mauling Gomez for a decision.

I really don't like Gomez personally but he was a real beast at 122. I think Morales has a shot at beating him if he fights an intelligent fight, but I would favor no one at that weight over Gomez.

Gomez would half kill Morales at 122.

That's an interesting question I'd like to hear others answer. Did he fight all worthy available opposition?

Eder Jofre would give him a working over.

There's no way glass Rigo beats Gomez. He might be up on the cards, but at some point Gomez clocks Rigo.

i can't argue gomez lands at some point, and rigo is still active so we don't know what will come, but he's been down a few times and never failed to get up and keep winning.
