actually im more versed in fight night than in real life. . been a fight night guru since the beginning of the franchise!

yeah, that's happened to me a lot as well on there. .

off topic, but WTF is up with the WHACK ASS scoring they implemented in with the last update?! When I'm simulating a fight with the CPU, I'll land like 25/60 punches, and my opponent will land like 10/30, and he'll win the damn round? And I don't get hurt, or anything. . . It's so frustrating.

The katsidis hook which dropped jmm was picture perfect, less fighters would have been serverly hurt.

 

You should pay attention to your stamina. If your stamina is low cause your guy is overwhelmed by all the punches that you threw to finish him off, one punch with make you visit the canvas. I was doing the same mistake back then

 

I also think Joe Louis deserves a mention.

 

yup. . . it still happens just off a flush counter, though, stamina 3/4ish. . . now i keep the setting on simulation, and I can't see my stamina bar during the round. . . you really have to go somewhat carefully for the finish if you're playing with the power slider all the way up, and the "toughness" slider on 7-8 where I keep it. . .

Sometimes I'll still get overzealous, and go for a flurry. . . BOOM, one punch "power counter", and Im kissing the canvas. .


I prefer playing against the CPU, because I can actually have very realistic simulation style fights. . My punchstats are always realistic. . . And it's not easy at all to beat a guy much better than you, and with an "outfighter" style. . ESPECIALLY with the way the ****ing scoring works now. . Sometimes you have to literally almost shut your opponent out, or keep him in the low 20, high teen connect percentage to win the round.

 

Oscar never really got hurt and the last time he was knocked down (quartey) it took him a good 3 rounds to really start scrapping again. Earlier in his career he would come back from a knockdown to knock his opponents out though.
I'd have to say Tito though. I wasn't a fan of his but if you knocked him down, watch out!
