There is no realistic claim for any fighter to even try to say they're close to #1, let alone actually having an argument for a #1 other than Floyd.
Mayweather is 37. If he has a lackluster fight that he wins you can take him out of that spot. Can't just go on reputation.
So age hinders P4P ranking? Well then Sergio, Wladimir, Froch, Marquez, Pacquiao, and Mayweather can all kiss their P4P rankings goodbye... according to you.
... ... According to him, probably something like: Mayweather- 6th Wladimir- 19th Marquez- 22nd Pacquiao- 23rd Froch- 31st Sergio- 38th
Bradley and rigo, Ward has dropped a bit IMO he needs to do something to maintain his high position, LHW is starting to look real hot, so that should be his direction. And Mayweather is by number 1 anymore, the quality of comp just keeps dropping, sure e is great nobody can argue, but guys like Guerrero and maidana are a disgrace. I also did not want him to fight Canelo, but it seems like a lot of people wanted it so I'll give him credit for that.
I like Rigon, and never miss his fights. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough fights to have a chance to be listed in the top 5. Really, with his few fights, he's very fortunate to even be in the top 10.
