If he beats Manny again he has three wins over ATGs mixed in with a victory over one of the hottest prospects in boxing in his last four fights topping his already more than impressive resume and you would still rank him below Floyd?

You must be *****s for sure

In fairness he did get donaire a bit of a schooling and people were seriously high on donaire in the p4p stakes. Are we saying nonito wasn't as good as advertised or is Rigo just that good?

Plenty of people have Froch in their lists despite the ward schooling

A 147-pound-version of Rigo humiliates Mayweather...
If that is the point of p4p please don't list Floyd above Rigo and please don't rate Wladimir Klitschko or Adonis Stevenson at all...

No, Rigo did school Donaire, no doubt.
However, I believe that Rigo shouldn't make it in the top 5 p4p based on one fight.
Ward isn't in the list solely based on his defeat of Froch alone and neither is Mayweather there based on one fight.

I have no doubt that Rigo will be viewed in time as top 3, but I just don't think that based on his current resume, the time is right.

If Bradley beats Pac hes definitely number 2

No one is gonna overtake Floyd before he retires

smaller guys are naturally more skilled and would almost always beat the bigger guys if you negate the height- and reach-advantage.
can you even imagine a 147-rigo?
that guy would be an absolute beast...

you think wladimir klitschko would beat a 220-pound-provodnikov even?

No, what I meant was, a 147 lb Rigo would not "humiliate" Mayweather.

It would be the fight of the decade, and a very competitive match, but definitely, no humiliation.

yeah maybe that was exaggerated, mayweather is a special talent, but you get my point.

what mayweather is doing is milking his name and searching for every little advantage when he really doesn't have to!

it is something he took out of dlhs book after beating him, he never wanted to be the one who gets dictated around ever again, but he's going way overboard with this to a point where he hurts boxing as a whole.

with the accolade of being p4pno.1 comes not only fame, glory and money but also big responsibility and Floyd isn't willing to take that responsibility and that's why imo it would be a very fitting time to agree upon a new p4p-king until May is willing to test himself again and stop with the bs and acting like he is god and bigger than the sport.

    my opinion.

I think, like Hopkins, Floyd is winning safely to ensure his longevity.

Once he starts getting into the home stretch, he'll probably revert to search and destroy as he was in Mayweather-Corrales.

Skill wise GGG an Lara haven't fought any good opposition to say skill wise they are the best Donaire was a good win for Rigo but GGG hasn't fought an top 5 or 10 MW, at the time of the fightGuerrero and Maidana will be more proven and hav fought better opponents than GGG and between them the only fighter I like is GGG. Bradley is my P4P #2 but a win over Pac in a rematch doesn't move him to #1 when Pacquiao would have gon 1-5 if Bradley wins. Don't see how you criticize Mayweather's opposition then praise guys who are fighting name's who haven't won in years.

I don't follow you Froch and Arce have both just lost if I recall right, I know Froch got the bs stoppage vs Groves. But exactly what I said was skills and opposition neither one of them are in the tops of there division and though I made a comment about Ward not being P4P #2 doesn't mean a guy he's rated ahead of and already beat should be on.

What you asses do not like is , floyd is the commander of this sport. He has paid his dues folks, whats the problem with that? Is it his fault that his opponents are not as well rounded in there game as he is? Is it his fault that he has an ace negotiator for his contracts!!

I look at P4P for achievemnet throughout and not just a win.
I dont think anybody should be P4P #1 instead of Floyd

Nobody is even close to Mayweather in terms of skill and resume these days. Rigo has insane skills and his win over Donaire is one of the best in recent boxing memory but it ain't quite enough. Ward is fantastic as well but his career seems to have slowed down a lot. Bradley is good but his robbery W over Pac taints his career.

Bernard Hopkins has better wins than Floyd, and he is still fighting at the highest level, so he could be called the p4p n.1 fighter.
