Which suggests that hes not that popular people just wana see his ass het whooped!

  2. I used to. Bought the Ortiz Floyd one to see him get beat. Got the Cotto one just for a good fight. I will buy in future just to watch him box. Ridic skills in the ring.

If a million people pay to watch his fights to see him lose then does it really matter if he is popular or not.

Since I got cable and been able to buy PPVs I bought the Mosley one, yeah I guess maybe hoping to see him lose but mostly because it was much anticipated.

The other fight I bought was Cotto, mostly to support Cotto as I respect him as a great warrior, going in expecting him not to have much of a chance but hoping for a good fight.

The only other PPVs of Floyd's I would have bought if I could have would have been DLH and Hatton (I was definately supporting those two against him). And maybe the hype for the Gatti fight would have got me too, and myself admiring Gatti as a warrior, I might have bought that one too

So I found only 4/5 of his 9 PPVs appealing enough to purchase. You can call me a Floyd disliker (though I liked him up until around the Baldomir/Hoya fights and have his career set up to that point)

:huh You thought Ortiz could beat PBF? I knew that was a joke fight from day one.

  7. I still don't think that was a joke fight and I am still gutted it ended in the fashion it did. Ortiz had a better chance than he was given credit for. A better chance than Mosley or Cotto imo. Just his mental fortitude thats questionable. He got impatient, acted like a tit, then acted even more of a tit and got k.o'd. Then acted like a SUPER tit smiling in the ring like lol i just k.o'd in a shady fashion. Well done Floyd :D :) :happy

    I do.

But then if you put him in with a Tomatoe Can i'd probably pay for that too, cos I love his style of boxing. He's the ultimate pureist.

But i'd still love to see that cocky smile smashed off his face and have him knocked down peg or 2. Also for the ***** mass suicides on here it would be worth it.

Agreed. I thought Ortiz was fighting a good fight. He was losing, but we knew he was going to lose the rounds.
He always looked in fight to me.

I agree Ortiz had a style that could have potentially beaten floyd. Or definetly knocked him down.

Want to see Floyd get pushed, then floyd make his adjustment - like the cotto fight

Only fights I wanted floyd to lose was Hatton and Marquez

    I also do too.

As a fighter I find him boring but tune in regardless to see someone land *that* punch that ends his career - I've thought for some time now that he'd quit if he got KO'd. Vs Cotto was the only one I've actually paid for (not had the ability for long), and it was worth every penny IMO.

Would love to see how he handled a loss, I doubt it would be dignified in any way at all.
