Castillo, followed by Judah. Judah and Corley showed Mayweather's vulnerabilities to a southpaw. Castillo showed the right gameplan if your an orthodox fighter.

A young DLH would have beat Floyd rather easy, imo.

Castillo & DLH came closest.... even at that, over the 3 fights between them (FMJ-DLH & FMJ-Castillo 1 & 2), there`s no doubt that Mayweather showed superiority over both guys, you can argue the margin of superiority all night long but he DID show superiority over both men in the end. That will always be the bottom line.

For someone with over 11,000 posts, you really do tend to type up some nonsense.

The first 4 rounds with Zab is great.

Zab is an absolutely amazing fighter in the beginning rounds.

Quite possibly one of the best in the beginning of the fight.

Luckily in boxing, it requires more than four rounds, heart, smarts, and stamina to be great.

Sure, but I was quite the Floyd nuthugger at the time and was scared that he was gonna lose, and even after Zab fell apart allowing Floyd to win, I realised I had been projecting my hopes onto Floyd that a new superstar of boxing would would emerge.

    Hence my subsequent disappointment.

    Fell apart?

Mayweather picked Zab apart after that.

Judah fell apart near the end of the 11th round. The fight was on the way to being stopped. Judah didn't want any part of that.

Floyd is one of the superstars in boxing, along with Pacquaio.

Because he lost 2 rounds to Judah means you lost hope in him?

    Are you serious?

Man this forum gets worse by the day.

Zab wasn't even close. It's called counter-punching. It took Mayweather three or four rounds to figure him out and after that it was all one-way traffic.

Zab is very fast and a southpaw. He probably posed Mayweather more questions early on than Mayweather is used to, but after he figured-out the answers it was game over.

    this.

Although i was a bit disappointed they didn't give oscar the nod when i first watched that fight i was convinced oscar had won.

Subsequently having watched it a couple more times it pains me to say Floyd won a close fight probably 7-5

you can be the best at your job...but when your attitude pride and personality get in the way... you can be in for some hurting
