Floyd landed the cleaner shots while Castillo held and hit, hit low, and crowded Floyd. Castillo did not win 6 or 7 rounds...

MORE THAN CLOSE that majority of boxing fans (most boxing fans minus floydies) have Castillo winning on the first bout.
    :deal
Then of course they're quick to say that the rematch was not even close.
    :D

It was close, but he lost by a good round or two. He was out-thrown and out-landed, and Castillo was the aggressor. Castillo definitely deserved to win that fight. But then Floyd fans always seem to believe that 1 of his punches is worth 3 of his opponents shots.

zab was the closest all around.....he was obviously winning the fight by a near shut out going into rd5 and he should've got the knock down..

the castillo fights werent so obvious because castillo wsn't landing very many clean punches like zab so thats the reasoning the scoring was so controversial...

Neither I am, but common how you can argue with hard data, Do you think perception is more accurate than the numbers?

It's stupid to say that PBF won because he was more acurate than JLC (he was not) or he wlaked better in the ring during the fight, you win a fight with punches not walking around the ring; if you can win a fight walking nice in the ring we may need to transform the gyms into a model schools to show them how to fight then they can become part of the runaway project. lol

    :yep:yep:yep

Zab came nowhere near beating Floyd. This is a joke. If it had been a 6 round undercard fight he could have argued that he deserved a draw, but not much more than that. Castillo stayed with Mayweather for the whole fight and in most people's eyes he should have got the nod in the first fight. I can't believe this debate is still going on, Castillo was clearly the closest to beating him given that it's the only fight Floyd has had where a very, very significant number of people feel he got a bit of a gift.

Only in the eyes of Mayweather fans are these words anything other than bull****. A punch has to land cleanly with the target area in order to be a scoring punch, for some reason every shot Mayweather throws is lauded, mainly because when all you do is pot shot rather than land 2 out of 5 throwing a combo it stands out more. There's nothing in the rules of the sport to say that he should get greater reward for his more sporadic success though.

that's bull and you know it, you are trying to lean in the only thing that PBF did a little bit better than JLC.

You win a fight landing more punches not landing the most pretty punches

Your opinion won't change, and mine won't either. That's why they do rematches to satisfy the fans, and we all saw who clearly won the rematch...

Not really we're talking about pro's not AMA. Fights are won on a round to round basis which still I thought was in Castillo's favor anyways.

Yeah, and imo Floyd landed more as compubox numbers mean shite to me since it's two or three guys who are clicking what punches they think are landing:lol:. Castillo hit arms as nothing really landed on Floyd so quit crying lol...
