I picked Pavlik by TKO against Hopkins. BAD BAD Call.

I seriously underestimated the skill of a living legend like Hopkins, even if he is 43.

I made the call because of how invincible Pavlik looked in his last fight and how gassed B-Hop was late in the fight with Calzaghe. It was shocking.

I picked Miranda over Abraham in their second fight, based on what I saw in the first fight.

I made a bad pick when I picked Jermaine Taylor to defeat Pavlik in rematch.

I picked Pavlik by points. I thought Bernard would start slow, letting Pavlik get a rhythm and dig to the body early: Pavlik's best body shot is a right straight, and Hopkins doesn't lower his left early, as he seems to wait untill he's gotten both the speed and timing of the other fighter down. I also believed Hopkins would gas late.

It would include Pavlik steamrolling over an underrated Hopkins, Margarito over Williams, Mosley over Cotto, Soto against Guzman, Kessler over Calzaghe, to cite a few.

But most of the time, I tend to go for the safer picks:
    Margarito late TKO Cotto
Margarito over Cintron II by TKO
    Pac over JMM II
    JMM over MAB UD
    JMM over Casamayor
    Calzaghe over Hopkins
