nashiro got an absolute gift with the cut, combined with the corruption that is japanese boxing. castillo also comfortably beat munoz 2x. the guy is faded now, sad to see him so out of there against montiel. great slick fighter to watch in his prime. fun to see him slip a punch then throw a flurry. kind of like a mexican whitaker.

How?, Donaire comes straight foward and Mijares is a great counter puncher also he is way faster not to mention he has a great jab. I think he loses. :good

Donaire would hand Mijares a serious beatdown and Montiel certainly has a better chance than many think

    Donaire is just too fast

He is more patient than Donaire. Fair enough? :D

The difference is subtle but if anything Mijares is TOO patient, I just got done reviewing Donaires career(seriously) and Donaire is too fast and too active(as compared to Mijares)

Trust me man Donaires speed and intelligence win the night

I honestly thought nothing could stop Mijares, I've since changed my mind. Donaire would pick Mijares off at will in a fight where Mijares does too much waiting(for the counter)

HHHMM, I am seeing a different fight. I see Mijares using his quick jab going in and out basically outboxing the guy. I see Donaire doing well but the end of the day he cant catch up with Mijares. I hope the fight gets made so we can see the actual fight go down. :good

I agree. We also have to start thinking about Mijares vs. Vic

Donaire is faster has better power and is a better couter-puncher than Mijares and he doesn't come forward in straight lines. How many Donaire fights have you seen? Mijares has better defense a better jab and a better workrate. I fell that Donaire will counter Mijares with something big and hurt him and finish him off.
