I would like to correct you sir. Faster hands with power. or Faster hands with malicious intentions. There are fast hands but with not the same intentions.

Just an FYI for everyone who is still not aware, Donaire only fought at 112 against Darchinyan and Maldonando.

Every other fight were contested at jr. bantam.

Nonito by decision or late round TKO.

Can't deny that Mijares has faced the better opposition though. I mean he has two belts. I hope Donaire accepts the fight so we can see it goe down.

I replied to to that already. I think he is slow compared to Mijares. I think Mijares has the faster hands.

Also Vic and Munoz have great KO power. I see that as good wins for both fighters.

Darchinyan is an elite fighter and Donaire destroyed him. And besides his last two title fights almost all of Donaire's fights were at 115.

They way you're talking makes me think you never seen Donaire fight. Saying he's slow??? Even compared to Mijares?? Please Donaire's hand speed is simply AMAZING nothing less.

Donaire has fought as high as Super batamweight and his last 2 fights are the oly ones at 112.

Munoz's power isn't as greatas his record makes it look. The only decent fighter he's ever stopped was Celes Kobayashi when he won his first title in 2002.

I think that's like saying Margarito is faster then Cotto. I think your claim is completely insane. No offence.

I pray to God this fight comes off. Mijares would school him and win a close Split Decision on the corrupt cards like always.

Donaire is NOT a complete fighter.

He doesn't need to be a complete fighter.

And what is so incomplete about him???

To beat Mijares without the help of corrupt judges(though that's always a possibility of course) you need to be a complete fighter. The guy has it all aside from great power.

Nonito is a counter-puncher by trade, he relies on his footwork and ring movement to stay out of harm's way and when single shots are fired, he retaliates with single counters most of the time. He's shown no real in-fighting ability, nowhere near what Mijares has shown anyway. He's not shown how he can deal with a constant workrate like Mijares would show him behind the jab(another thing Donaire lacks that would hurt him against Mijares). And Mijares counters very well himself, and along with his head movement, that should lead to some nice counters on the counter puncher when Donaire swings wide with his hooks. Not likely to be damaging counters, but point scoring ones.

Donaire should last the distance though, as he's harder to track down and overall better than Montiel. His lack of versatility should be his downfall though against a very versatile boxer like Mijares. Montiel would just get creamed I think. Donaire has the better shot at landing a big punch with his explosiveness and straight right.
