He better hurry up, fight JuanMa and move up because Rigondeux is coming to take it all away.

his chin and D are still suspect... juanma and donaire will certainly test those.

He's 30 in december. How many years does he have before the blistering hand speed and reflexes start to decline? Boy better get a move on. He needs to fight 6 times in the next two years at least.

Good post , yes I also think that he's ready , he should start looking for Lopez , Hazegawa or John to fight next , but we can't complain at how his career is developing , he has been matched with pretty good competition since the start , and he looks better by the fight , all he has to watch out for are those rabbit punches , they seem to come more and more every fight , he has to COMPOSE himself and keep his adrenaline in check , but then it is precisly this enormous rush of adrenaline what makes Gamboa such an exciting boxer . Peace.

I don't think anyone 130 or under beats him. I was of this opinion before last night and I'll keep believing it until someone proves me wrong.

Rigo is the only one who possibly could but they wont fight. Juanma wont be a match. Id keep Donaire away from him, Donaire will be facing someone whom even if he carries his speed & power up to 126, Gamboa will still match him except Gamboa has better combinations and bigger.

Lopez is over rated. Gamboa is going to knockout lopez somewhere between the 6th and 8th rounds. I dont know why everyone figures lopez will win

No way. Gamboa throws too many combos for Lopez and Lopez is not going to handle that at all. Bet the house on gamboa.

The guy with the best chance is Nonito, I think he would actually beat him. Rigondeaux is too small and has a poor chin, JML would feel the wrath, still not set on him at all. :rasta

Koki Kameda is not winning ****, he will get KO'ed in the 1st round

Hozumi Hasegawa would probably last the distance but lose by UD

Guillermo Rigondeaux would lose a wide UD for lack of workrate

Juan Manuel Lopez if he decides to trade will lose by 1st or 2nd round KO
But if he boxes then it might last till the 9th or 10 but he still gets knocked out.

Chris John will probably last the distance or get KO'ed in the 11th or 12th round when he starts to become a static target.

Nonito Donaire in my opinion is the only kid I give a chance of not only beating Gamboa but knocking him out due to counter punching opportunities but that to me is the most compelling fight right now because Gamboa beats everyone else handily in my opinion
