Great. But you've not really come up with any creditable reasons as to why, you have just made blanket statements; he beats everybody. Not taking into account styles, what his opponents bring, how he'll adapt to the weight, anything. A chimp could do similar.
vs. Abraham 50/50 I'd pick Calzaghe and Kessler on points. Hopkins... damn I don't know, but at 170, maybe the old fox pulls this one off... we'll see... Great fights, all of them.
He's very beatable ... there are a ton of guys from 160-68 than can beat Pavlik. He's an entertaining guy to watch but he has yet to step up to the plate against a good, schooled, talented, experienced boxer -- he's been successful against guys who're willing to bang with him willinglessly ... but you have a guy that thats good technically - he would give Pavlik plenty of problems. I think there are a ton of guys at 168 that could beat him ... Winky Wright, Joe Calzaghe, Lucian Bute, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, Andre Ward, and maybe a strong maybe ... Mikkel Kessler.
Listen, I know some of those guys are talented but Pavlik looks unbeatable. I think he beats anyone at 160 and I will admit I am a little worried about some guys like Kessler at 168. I just feel Pavlik can beat all of them if he is focused and determined. I hope Calzaghe answers the call so we could see a super fight down the road. :bbb
Librado Andrade ... forget about it ... that guy will give any fighter fits and I think that he has a good enough chin and good enough power to give Pavlik trouble and win a decision.
Yeah he beat Taylor 2wice but the second victory can be disputed and can be given in favor of Taylor. Taylor seemed like a different fighter the second time around and given another chance can beat Pavlik by decision or by stoppage.
He's talking a lot of sense when he's not filling up the ESB quota of dumb ass threads. Except Taylor, I think we've been over that bridge, and Dirrel who it is far too early to accurately predict anything.
