Floyd chooses an unbeaten record over legacy.

If he wanted legacy, he should fight Martinez at 160 and Golovkin at 160.
This will put him at 20-25 all time.

I would like to watch Floyd have 2 fights in one night, both 10 rounders, against 154lbers.
Sugar Ray Leonard went 15 against Hagler, why can't Floyd go 5 more against 2 fighters that are no way near Hagler's level?

Broner. There is no blueprint and hes tougher than a well done steak. Also with diabetic fat albert in his corner brushing his hair and having a seizure everytime Broner lands a punch, thats gotta mess with Floyds head a bit.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're trolling. But for those that don't know any better Ray DIDN'T go 15 rounds with Hagler. Ray only went 12 rounds with Hagler. Also Leonard started his career @147 while Floyd started his @130 yet they are both 5 division champs. Even though Ray fought better opposition than Floyd, and is a greater fighter than Floyd, Ray's five division claim is a lot sketchier than Floyd. Ray won a 175 and 168 belt in one fight against 175 fighter (Lalonde) who would have raped Leonard if he was healthy. That being said Ray is still greater than Floyd, but please stop trying to say that for Floyd has to jump even higher in more divisions than Ray did to still be rated lower than Ray! It screams hypocrisy.

Matthysse would only have a punchers chance . And Thats about it really .

BUT If a 39 year old past prime Shane almost had floyd out of there with just 1 punch . It would be pretty interesting too see what would happen if Matthysse connects on floyd . It could very well be LIGHTS OUT .

Im not sold on Canelo being a challenge for Floyd , Like i mentioned before He should be able to outpoint Canelo without too much trouble , but no way does he actually takes a risk and finds out for himself .

Paul williams has enough tools to beat Mayweather , i have always said this .

He will lose that 0 before he retires, even though he says "I will retire from boxing, boxing won't retire me" I think he will go down the same old route where he doesn't know when to call it a day. I could be wrong.

I don't know many boxers that have walked away when they should have and stayed away. Most recent examples I can think of is Lewis and Calzaghe.

Not at the moment. And I hope Williams does make a full recovery, but either way he'll never be as good as he was before. But in his prime that was a 50/50 fight for Floyd if ever there was one!

    Passing of the torch?

Think Floyd wins but I'd love to see this fight!

I disagree , in the Punishers prime . He would have overwhelmed floyd like no other fighter has come close to doing . His freakish height (6ft 2) would have discourage Floyd as well . Paul outworks him in a WIDE UD or TKO late .
