Who can beat Pavlik?

I have to give ya that one. Sturm does have a mouth on him.

 

K-Man has claimed Zertuche knocked Pavlik down. He's made that claim a dozen times. He does not know the difference between Zertuche and Zuniga. I don't think he is exactly a Pavlik expert.

 

To be fair, the guy's probably watched hundreds of hours more fight footage than just about anybody on this forum; he can be cut a little slack if a couple of things get muddled here and there. :yep

 

Replace Zertuche with Zuniga, read something about the first while typing.

However, it's beyound funny that people who have nothing in their hands always come with the record and who had which ranking. Are you capable of gauging a fighters skills while watching him fight ? Zuniga was a crude slugger with no good balance, setups, who was just firing at Pavlik. He is in no way comparable to Froch or Abraham. Still Zuniga landed a good amount of punches, so it is safe to assume that Froch and Abraham will land too.

Will Pavlik be able to take those punches from Abraham and Froch ? NOONE KNOWS. Will Pavlik be able to read their timing, so he lands his not so fast punches ? NOONE KNOWS. Does he have a chance ? Absolutely. Is he the sure tie to beat up both, anyone at 168, one arm behind the back, barefoot, not breaking a sweat, by KO2 ? Wake up. Just wake up, PLEASE.

There were 2 or 3 dudes with join dates of "later" '09 (one even named himself Calzaghe!!)arguing the other day that they'd never heard of this, so Hermit, myself, and a couple others "HAD" to be lying out of our asses. We were not even tryin' to say who would/wouldn't have won, only that this sequence of events infact to place.
