A same size past prime Jermell Herring whose claim to fame is not being able to hack it at even below world level at 135 and moving down to weight bully leprechauns like Frampton and who was bang average in his prime

Kudos to Shakur for being able to score a stoppage win over a world champion for the only time in his career

A way smaller Valdez who had been in at least half a dozen life or death wars prior to heading into that fight vs fighters his own size and had been dropped or hurt in almost all of the them, let alone after facing Shakur, and none of those guys were elite. And he literally lost his previous fight to Robson but the corrupt SOB US judges robbed him blind

Kudos to Shakur for being able to register the only KD of a world champion of his career though against a much smaller man who has been dropped or hurt in many fights

A same size Robson who Shakur missed weight for by 1.5lbs and didn't even try to shift it after doing so even though he still had time to try and do so. Not to mention he punched Robson low all night

A same size Teofimo who cannot deal with certain styles, should have 2 other losses at the weight to slick or negative defensive fighters or who fought like that vs him and was an extremely favourable stylistic matchup for him.

Teo was clearly not the devastating puncher at 140 he was down at 135 and in addition to him already having been bested in 3 of his previous 7 fights in all bar the corrupt judge's eyes, having been bested in 2 of his previous 6 fights at 140, haven been taken to slick school in his own backyard on a deck heavily stacked in his favour by Sandor Martin and even worse dropped x 2 by him despite Martin sporting a KO 34% or 15 KOs in 47 fights and being outboxed all night by Jermain Ortiz, Teo has registered stoppage win in 7 fights at 140 and only 1 KD

This is the kind of puncher Teofimo was when he was a huge weight bully at 135

Shakur is an excellent fighter and has great skills and I've never doubted his talent but this is the list of ATG killers he has beaten and he is still yet to beat one much bigger than him, let alone way bigger or do so routinely in his opponent's backyards on a deck stacked against him where he is giving away huge amounts of weight and reach and facing KO artists or big punchers who are huge punchers or big punchers at a weight he's tiny for.


To be fair, he has beaten many other ATG killers like a part-time domestic level boxer/electrician who literally had no camp for the fight and came in ion just 4 days notice

A Japanese fisherman from Kanuma

William Zepeda who went life and death in his 2 previous fights with Tevin Famer who dropped him and hurt him badly in both fights (1 KD not counted) despite sporting a KO 24% or 8 KOs in 43 fights

Edwin De Los Santos whose power, speed, size, athleticism and longer reach put the fear of god into Shakur and had him terrified of taking the slightest risk all night stinking out the venue so bad the echoes of the boos are still reverberating around it now

Artem Harutyunyan who he stunk out the joint against again, so much so his own home fans booed him again and were leaving in their droves before the fight had even finished

That's one hell of a resume right there. ''Bum'' SRR and Greb didn't come close to facing a murderer's row of ATG killers like that

So remember that when you trash the level of opposition of certain other fighters who did routinely what he has never done once and he himself openly admits he won't dare do once without crippling them with rehydration clauses and have fought way more champs and better opposition than he has in less fights

The thing to remember is Shakur like all these American stars and unbeaten American prospects who are being groomed to be the next future star, unless they're facing a fellow American star or a future one who is being groomed to be the next North American star that is, highly likely isn't ever going to get robbed vs a foreign opponent in his entire career because he, like every single other American one, is almost always, if not always, going to be fighting on a deck which is heavily stacked in his favour with a full set of home refs and judges who will always be on protection duty to wave their magic wands to transform said American or future America star's losses into wins to ensure they get the W and their unbeaten records and legacies and brand stay intact no matter what and that the gravy train keeps on rolling so this is the most important thing to factor in before trying to answer questions like this.

The closest thing Shakur will ever come to fighting on a deck stacked against him is if he travels outside the US to fight a foreigner in their backyard or in a neutral country but that won't ever happen because even if he does do so, in complete contrast to how they stack the deck in the US like virtually all the time and literally in no other country in the world for world title fights between a home and away fighter, the officials will all come from neutral countries or at worst there will be much fairer representation.

It's considered criminally unfair, outrageous even, that American fighters should ever once have to play by the same rules as foreigners have to do all the time vs their boys, let alone all the time and their boys won't dare ever do it once in their entire careers.

The only chance of them getting robbed vs a foreigner is if they're facing a huge Mexican star like Clenelo and even then it would be more unlikely than not.

 

A same size Beterbiev would beat Shakur into the ground. Teo has 1 KO and 1KD at 140 and should be 4-4 at that weight now. Beterbiev is arguably the hardest puncher in the sport who has knocked out or stopped every man he's faced sans Bivol who he was old and well past his prime when he fought and not only has elite skills he's an elite pressure fighter with devastatingly heavy hands who can apply relentless pressure from the start of round 1 to the final bell without noticeably tiring.


Shakur has nothing to keep him off of him. Bivol has some of the best feet in the game, is a master of distance control, gets hit less than anyone including Shakur, has very fast hands and feet, and is an excellent combination puncher and he hits harder than Shakur P4P who isn't facing bigger or much bigger guys like Bivol has been doing the vast majority of the time despite only having campaigned in one division. Bivol might have a KO 50% but he's been fighting bigger or much bigger guys for the most part most of whom are notoriously tough and durable and either never get stopped or rarely do and even when they have been it's generally been by murderous punchers or huge punchers like Kovalev, Beterbiev etc.

Shakur isn't stopping or dropping fighters who've been dropped by complete featherfists like Sandor Martin who has 15 KOs in 47 fights and Tevin Farmer who has 8 KOs in 43 fights


Bivol didn't even stink out the joint vs Beterbiev and refuse to take risks like Shakur has done numerous times vs far lesser fighters and punchers than Beterbiev none of whom are are even remotely close to Beterbiev's level or hit near as hard P4P and Bivol still barely beat an old well past prime Beterbiev. Shakur stands zero chance of beating a same size Beterbiev or even making it to the final bell vs him.
