No one said Seth Mitchell, Chaunecy Welliver or David Rodriguez. While none have the credentials on the big stage, all have shown exceptional chin, and workrate. Rodriguez might be the best HW bodypuncher. Mitchell is all out from the opening bell, and Welliver is working hard to increase his power to add to his workrate. Mitchell could KO Wlad on a good night. Weeliver could outwork a lethargic Vitali on his best night. And Rodriguez could KO either K2 with his up n down attack. Thing is these 3 guys are hungry. ANd their promoters seem poised to price them out of the biggest fights for whichever reason. Rodriguez was supposed to fight Boystov before Denis hands became an issue, but Denis GBP wanted el Nino to fight for 20K, less than 1/2 of what Gavern got for the same fight. Welliver got peanuts for Solis, and he really deserved more IMO. He looked good, even at 300lbs against the young Cuban titlist, and is trying to maintain his rating with the ABCs and increase it by looking for fights with Cameron, Barrett, Leipei, and Tua. All fights he could make if he'd take the shortest stack. His contention is to bring the fights to China where all involved would make decent loot. But all insist that they MUST call the shots from the opening of negotiations.:rofl Mariusz Wach is another hopeful since he has been increasing his power over the last 4-5 fights since signing with the american UBP team outta A/C. His new team has him focusing more on offense and looking good inside the ring, and it's paying off. Cant wait till his fight with Fields starts up this months. Yeah, Feilds is getting KTFO, but how and which round will be interesting. Helenius, IF Healthy...is the heir to the K2 throne. He will follow in Vitalis footsteps when Vito drops his WBC belt for the poitical stage. That is, IF he's healthy. This is obviously a worst case scenario for Wladimir, and Robbe has power in both hands, an iron chin, and a relentless attack. He appears abit crude at times, but shows no signs of slowing his role, even in the deeper waters of the championship rounds. Can't wait to see him back in action later this summer. I think that WLad should focus on getting this fight with Arreola, Potvetkin, Fury, Thompson, and Dimitrenko. Hope that someone like Boystov works his way into contention as well. These are all fairly easy winnable fights for him en route to his record title defenses. Vitali should get this fight with Haye, and maybe Sitverne or Valuev. Then hang em up. At 41 this summer, he aint getting younger, and I cant see his body holding up like Big Georges did. He just doesnt have the bulk or one punch power to come from 11 rounds down for a KO int he 12th. It's getting close to time to put him out to pasture and allow for the Mitchells, Helenius's Rodriguez, Wachs, Solis's and Wellivers to get their propers.:deal
Haye can't beat Vitali IMO. He's too small to beat him. All he can do is just running away all night like he did against Wlad. Bull**** fight again.
Nobody on the scene now. We need a Tyson-esque phenom to emerge, and that's not impossible, but surely inprobable.
i think arreola at the moment has the best chance. even though hes been on a bum hunt for a while. if not arreola then i would have to say haye vs vitaly . if hayes toe really was ****ed, him healthy vs vitaly is the fight that could take vitaly down. in the future maybe seth mitchell and tyson fury . the top 3 right now i think are arreola haye t fury believe it or not i think he can cause problems for either of them
Kimbo's innate ability to evade incoming fire would serve him well. Klitschko might be able to eek out a decision if he can slow Kimbo down with the jab, but the more likely scenario is what you just posted: an overhand right ending Klitschko's night early. Probably in the second round. Third at the very latest.
