    Correct!
They are two BORING, steroided TALL men whose advantage is only their height. An in shape Lennox Lewis would have stopped the Klit even earlier, likely by devastating KO. :yep

Pointless thread, don't you guys know anything? The Klitschkos lose by KO in the first round or earlier vs any fantasy match-up.

Height doesn't change quite that rapidly, but I agree with you about the size issue. There's no doubt that fighters are bigger and stronger than they ever were. For instance, George Foreman was considered a monster in his day because he was a inch taller and twenty pounds heavier than most pros. It's hard to believe that he was a shade under 6 foot 4 and only around 225. That's 3 inches shorter and 20 pounds lighter than either Klitschko. But few fighter are as tall as the Klitschko, so it really is the weight and strength issue that warrants greater scrutiny.

Indeed. But you made the claim that the old timers would all get their clocks cleaned since they "can't compare physically".

Far lesser fighters have managed it.

They're from Ukraine, not Russia. And yes, Vitali has been caught using illegal supplements, not Wladimir.

They're 197cm and 202cm.. what the **** is wrong with that? Every basketball player is about the same height, they were spoon fed steroids aswell?

I know Wladimir Klitschko suffered defeats to Sanders, Brewster and Purrity, fortunately Wladimir has learned from his losses.

Here are the matchup problems fighting vitali.
    1. He has never been banged out of there like Lewis, Louis, Wlad, Shavers Frazier etc You have to TKO him
    2. He doesnt drop rds and has never lost a decision. I think an argument can be made for Vitali dropping the fewest heavyweight rds in title fights of any HW ever.
    3. His work rate is crazy good even at his advanced age, so u need godly stamaina
    4. His size and reach are just so much to deal with that many figthers looks pathetic in there
    5. Vitali has heavy hands that eventually break you down and stop you. very few see the final bell.

Just like he demolished Jimmie Young?

I actually think Foreman would have a slightly better shot at beating Vitali, than beating todays version of Wladimir Klitschko due to the fact that Vitali is more likely to stand in front of George.

Nobody stands in front of George and beats him.

I actually think Vitali would beat Foreman. Foreman had power, and winged punches like a mad man and those shots were wide as hell. Vitali throws very staight punches with power and reach, no way Foreman would come barreling in like he did against Ali, and he was put down before albeit against huge punchers. I really wouldn't be surprised if VK TKO'd him. Young Foreman was great back in the day because comparing horses, he was the best horse, not even close to being a great or skilled boxer. I think both VK and LL would put a serious ass whipping on Foreman.

you know, if you're not actually going to make an argument besides "go back to your history forum" you might as well not even try

dempsey knocked out people like luis firpo who were comparable in size to some of the blown up immobile fatties today(except firpo could actually fight)

jack johnson had more skill than both klitschkos combined and the athletic gifts of ali

langford and fitzsimmons are some of the hardest p4p punchers to ever live, period

There's a reason people still remember these names. You think people are going to talk about the klitschkos the same way 90 years later? **** no.
