Are you kidding me with this bull****. These are the two biggest most atheltic fighters of ALL time. especiall Wlad, your argument is utter bull****. Wlad is super athletic and moves so effortlessly in the ring now. Ill take Manny Stewards words over yours when he said Wlad was the most gifted heavyweight he ever trained. Wlad and Vitali are going to be remembered for a lot of reasons and both will make the Hall of fame, utter **** response.
Not only Manny Steward, but Freddy Roach says the Klitschkos are the best heavyweight athletes he's ever seen with the ability to box, and yes.. he has trained with both of them.
You comparing Jimmy Young's boxing ability to either of the Klits? LOL, that's like comparing Tyson's KO power to Lewis's, or Pacman's flurries to Aaron Pryor. Not at all the same. :rofl
Its funny you put it that way, how come George Foreman wanted no part of Larry Holmes and always said one man he would never fight was Lennox Lewis due to his technical skills. Do you also know that George Foreman is an avid fan of Wladimir Klitschko?
If you'll pay attention(reading?) I'm actually not banging on the athletic prowess of the Klitschkos at all, simply laughing at the notion that these p4p greats with more experience and harder fights under their belts could not even be considered as contenders against the Klitschkos, when they've faced more and harder fights. I never said they wouldn't be HoF material and Wlad especially is an AtG heavyweight(although I'm not sure where).... But Vitali isn't on the same level as some of these legends.
In 30 years they'll remember the Klits as they'll remember Valuev; tall steroided guys who belonged in circus acts and fought in a division they did not belong. All three should have been barred from fighting in HW division, and instead placed in new Super Heavy-weight division.
2 guys have seen the final bell vs Vitali, neither of them won 1 rd. Vitali has only ever lost due to injury. these 2 facts dont impress anyone in 41 professional fights?
They are 6'6½ and 6'7½ respectively at 240-250lbs. How is that so different to Lennox Lewis at 6'5 240-250lbs or Riddick Bowe at 6'5 240lbs? Same goes with George, at 6'4 240lbs. You are a joke.
LMAO You are quoting George Foreman, the HBO commentator. Not the same dude as prime George Foreman, the KO artist. Believe me when I say, the REAL George Foreman, the mean ******* of old, would not have hesitated to fight Lewis, or both of the Klits. Also, there is a very HIGH probability that he would have KO'ed them all, prior to his loss and humiliation to the greatest, ALI.
You are said that jack Johnson has more athletic ability than both Klits combined, not only is that an ignorant statement it reeks of hater type remarks. You also said no one will remember them in 90 yrs when the fact is you dont disagree that they will be in the HOF and wlad is possibly going to retire top 10-15 ATG heavyeight and Vitali top 15-25 ATG heavyweight. Your posts are contradictory and against the facts.
Adds more weight to my point that the major advantage the Klits have over their average opponent is, HEIGHT. Once they meet someone like Lewis and have no height advantage, even an out-of-shape champ like Lewis whups that ass every time. I suggest you go back to commenting on UFC, cause you know jack about the sweet science. Where you live in Denmark? :rofl
Vitali has a better chance against foreman can we agree on that? We know for a fact that Lennox has been laid out by one punch. We have never seen that from Vitali. We know Lewis has dropped a lot of professional rds as a heavyweight, we know vitali doesnt lose rds and NO way would lose a decison to foreman. Foreman would have to KO Vitali and we just dont ahve any evidence that he would get KO'd unlike we do for Lennox Lewis.
Boxing fans are all about hating, so I am not going to hate on teh Klits... but I will say that a number of fighters in boxing history could beat them... Ali, Lewis, Tyson, Holmes, Shavers, Foreman, Frazier, Liston, maybe Louis.... but these sort of threads are for idiots... hwo can you compare H2H an athlete from 100 years ago vs a guy from today... Training methods, equipment, nutrition, DRUGS... its all different. Its like comparing apples to oranges. In fact in there own era theres no comparison. The percentage of the world that watch(ed) boxing and participated in boxing in Louis or Ali's era vs today was much, much higher so by definition to dominate in those eras - they were better boxers.
