Vitali on an all time scale is garbage.
Ali would humiliate him, Tyson and Foreman wipe him out early, Louis and Lewis both knock him out, Larry Holmes takes him to school.
Sonny Liston knocks him out too.

Beating up the worst ever generation of Heavyweights in Germany, gives him nothing on the best Heavys of all time.

Edit, Jack Dempsey would annihalate him too.

I love all these guys who say they all knock him out and we have never even seen Vitali down or seriously hurt. Yet every guy listed on your list has been knocked out.

Like i said there isnt a heavyweight in history who has both never lost a decision and never been down while in the process never dropping rds. His only 2 decision wins he won every rd. it is incredulous!!!

hes never been down in his career yet tyson and foreman stop him early? We seen the monster shot he took from lewis. theres a lot of heavies who wouldnt have beaten a ten count after taking that shot yet he stayed on his feet

He's had ONE fight against a real live opponent(who was at his heaviest ever, in his last fight, having achieved all he wanted to), and after an excellent start, was getting beaten up.
Physically he's too big and athletic(or was) for the awful compitition he's faced, but I dont think that gets him through against the top guys of all time.

Tyson and Alis quickness too much, Lewis and Foremans brute strength...look what Lewis started to do to him after Vitalis great start, Holmes and Loius skills and power, Listons jab and power, Dempseys agression.....I dont think Vitali handles it.
    Thats how I see it.

There's nothing wrong, at all, with the picks you have made. Vitali gets some kind of crazy pass on actually proving himself h2h in the real world when he steps into crazy Mythical Match Up World. That's not unheard of. Orlando Canizales is anoher example at a much lighter weight.

Still, he's so awkward and difficult and big I could see him beating some of the very best names in HW history. He'd be a serious handful for basically any of them, with one or two exceptions.

I'm not saying Ali would destroy and KO both Klitschkos in the same night, but it doesn't matter which era you put him in he was the fastest & Quickest HW of all time.

Lateral speed has to go to Tyson. They are close.

Ali had an upright style smartly using his reach to his advantage, Tyson used his lower center of gravity to his advantage, but both had real speed and quickness.

Man did you watch the NBA in the 80s? Kobe and Lebron are bigger, stronger faster and more athletic than Bird and Magic but they are not even close in their over all game. the exact same thing in boxing . . . size means nothing if you do not have skill . . . same for boxing I'd take holmes and tyson over the kbros any day! What in the hell happened to the heavyweights? it is like they all got amnesia and forgot how to fight.

I second that, of all time. Tyson was fast, but for how long? The Klits are good, but today's era is bad.

Montero, what top guys are you talking about as far as better than the 80's? No disrespect to Adamek, but he is considered a top five contender after beating Areolla. Is Areolla one of the best of today? Povetkin who? Chambers? One name only; which one of them would beat Witherspoon. That is one name against all three mentioned today. If it wasn't for Manny taking over for Vlad, he possibly have lost quite a few more times and blame it on his water or get his brother to exact revenge. Vitali much better, but someone with speed and some pop could beat him. Again, Lewis did not come in at top form even though Vitali was winning on points. That is the best fighter he fought so far.

hard to say. his style could give triobles to all. but a prime foreman i think would stand toe to toe and would be a war
