He never throws his left hook anymore. He threw it twice against Austin who is terrible and other than that he hasn't thrown one in years. Wlad's handspeed is also over rated, he has very fast feet but his hands are pretty average speed.

Wlad has an uppercut :huh ?

Samuel Peter has the best chance. Agressiveness, power and decent chin. He would have to be in the best shape of his life though and use his jab to get inside.

I forgot he koed MCcline with left hook also. He landed an upper cut on Thompson in the fight. So you were wrong. Wlad has not landed a left hook in years. He hit Brock, Shufford, Austin, Brewster, and Bryd with left hooks.
He koed them with left hooks.

That makes Wlad look even better. He actually threw 4 left hooks and put Austin out.

Did you watch the fight against Thompson at all? Wlad threw plenty of left hooks and a few uppercuts.

So over the course of an 11 round fight against a guy who for the second half of the fight was a punching bag Wlad threw "a few uppercuts."

My bad, I had no idea how well rounded Wlad is.

actually ANYONE WITH POWER BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY PRESSURE!!!

there is very few that would have a chin good enough to put pressure on wlad but that is definatly the way to beat him..

notice in every loss wlad had or almost had ANYTIME HE HAS PROBLEMS it is always the pressure that killed him...

so i think arreola has the best chance maybe povetkin but both of those guys need atleast a couple of years

Well, they must have been during the commercial break because I didn't see any. Tha man cannot fight on the inside, if he comes across a "decent" infighter he gets KTFO. Unfortunately there don't seem to be any decent HW around at the moment, its a joke.

If Brian Minto was my trainer for a week I have no doubts that I would KO Wlad.
