Not Pavlik. But if you posted this in GF they would all say that but seriously Calzaghe is the only one in and around SMW,LHW IMO.

I agree. Kessler only lost to Joe by a couple of rounds. He's got a big future if he stays focused and injury free.

I think Kessler is growing as a fighter and used the upper cut against Joe very well....I have seen Kess fight several times but dont remember many effective upper cuts....this new wepon will mean bad news for the guy Kesslers fights next

Kessler didnt use it as much as he should have. Joe was bending in all night long.

This may sound bizarre but after today i reckon Mundine has a much better chance beating Calzaghe then first thought...... maybe 30-40%

That's provided he throws more punches per rd than BHop.

Calzaghe looked great against Kessler, who in turn comfortably beat Choc........ i know i may be losing it

Maybe Hopkins is the biggest spoiler in boxing and i'm completely wrong about Mundine even troubling JOE C

Basically though you would hope Mundine would learn from Joe's success against Kessler. As a high workrate seems so important against A level fighters, this incorporated with Mundine's other strengths/skills, puts Kess in alot more trouble IMO. You could also suggest the longer Kessler remains inactive, thrown in with his loss to Joe, compared to Mundine fighting twice as many opponents (since they faught) , arguably improving certain facets and weaknesses along the way, add on top of that a sky rocketing ego/confidence.... maybe mixes the ingredients for a reversal of fortune.

Problem is Mundine may have ironed out some deficiencies, but in doing so, has definitely dropped off with his workrate, which can happen when competing against second rate competion.

This is what concerns me if the Kessler fight comes off.

I genuinely think that Calzaghe would have a better than 50% chance of beating Mundine with 1 hand tied behind his back. Im honestly not kidding. On the Kessler note, Kessler had improved substantially more since the last fight that Mundine did.
