How about, start by giving Collazo a rematch? give the fans a reason to care, we all know you would rather get those good paychecks at HBO fighting mediocre opposition than take a challenge? OK, its not Rocket science here is a list of fragile psyched ****s you can test the waters with, I submit the following:

    Cintron
Judah though he is now at 140 he can be induced to 147 for a title shot I believe.

thats 2 and Collazo who although not a mental case is unlucky. Clottey anyone? thats 4 so far.
you could grow serious balls and fight Williams? that makes it 5.
but the truth is ur sorry ass will probably fight Ishe Smith or some similar facsimilie, **** you Berto u ****ing fraud.

I don't understand this train of thought. You think Berto should continue to get these easy fights and wait till the possibility of Pac or another top guy?

    :huh

Berto's top option at the moment should be Cotto, if that doesn't happen, he should go after JMM, these 2 have huge followings and can get him on PPV. Cintron, Williams, and Clottey are winnable fights but they don't get him the money nor do they get his name out there. That being said his last fight was a joke, and I'm not gonna pull any punches if he fights another guy like that.

But Cotto's busy with Mayorga. Berto needs to fight someone in the meantime, someone live for once. He got $900K his last fight, He's making money. Good money for the comp he's facing. All this protecting of Berto till he faces a top guy is BS. Since when do fans stand up for someone doing that? That's always been a big criticism of Chavez jr. Facing hand fed opponents waiting for a big title shot or something.

in my oppinion he doesnt need to fight an established star, too become one. if he fights good upn comer like aydin or canelo, than I put him in the list of stars. too become a superstar he has to do that, but only with more good opponents.

His comp isn't all that bad, Forbes, Urango, Collazo, Quintana, all former world champs. Hell Alexander's claim to fame is beating Urango, and PW is 1-1 with Quintana. Yeah his last fight was a joke but he is willing to fight the best P4P around him. As said earlier, Aside from the big 2, Cotto would be best for him, if not Cotto than JMM, would be the next best thing. As he can get on PPV. Cintron just doesn't bring anything to him, Although it would be nice to add Cintron to the list of Ricans he has already beat in a build up to face Cotto. IMO his next fight should be JMM.

Unification may be the best thing for Berto, if he is unable to get the big fights.
