How did you score the Dawson/Johnson fight again?

 

What do styles do to fights again?

 

All you need to know is that Pavlik gets KOed by Johnson if he fought him at 175 and Dawson won. If you want to debate that, then anybody, please tell me how Pavlik outboxes Johnson, because he surely won't KO him.

 

Since he spent most of his career defeating ham an eggers, it's probably too late. Beating up past prime greats doesn't garner respect either, ask those who still **** on Pac.

Joe C will be popular for "What if" scenarios where his biggest fans can give him the benefit of the doubt, but in terms of beating top fighters and actual accomplishments, he's sorely lacking in that department. And now it seems it's a MW he'll possibly be fighting next. I'd much rather see him vs. Dawson, Tarver or Johnson. Don't think we'll get any of those though.

 

I've read several times that it has some type of effect, I think.

Even had the decision gone Glen's way, it wouldn't change a thing. Dawson would still be the best fight out there, and most creditable (among true fans, certainly not the casual HBO fan) for Calzaghe, far better than Pavlik.

Im making a point that Dawson is a harder challenge for Joe than Pavlik, a much harder challenge. Dawson could actually win.

Calzaghe and Kessler hate guys that come right at them, even thoug that's what both have shown the most success with stylistically.
