How are you comparing Pavlik to Lacy though. One was a highly touted up and coming (overrated) fighter. While the other is proven in the ring against some tough opponents and holds the major titles in his division. horrible comparison.

IB said Dawson's a better win than pavlik, then Pipe responded with the Johnson fight and Dawson's struggle as a reason why he wouldn't be a better win or challenge for Joe, then I jumped in. Nice try, keep up with the negativity moron.

Right. Everybody is just using Pavlik's name and tv status as a reason why he's a bigger win. In terms of danger (which should be the main criteria in crediting a victory), it's Dawson no question over Pavlik. Unless some of these guys honestly think Pavlik is a KO threat to Joe, which is just ludicrous. The only way Calzaghe loses to Pavlik is by DQ at 0:01 of the 1st round in Youngstown.

Glenn Johnson is BIGGER then both and is a hard hitter himself. Not to mention his activity will keep Joe C from getting comfortable, and Kessler.....yeah, wake me when he wins a big one.

 

It doesn't matter. When he beats Pavlik, they'll cling to Dawson. If not Dawson, you'll get people claiming he needs to beat Tarver, due to Calzaghe being interested in a fight with Woods

I pointed out the Johnson fight, because IMO it's funny to see people bigging up Dawson just a few weeks after they drove his ass into the ground. Not because I have an opinion to make about who would be a better win for Joe, if Joe were to win.

 

Sorry beating Hopkins secured his atg status . Beating Pavlik just gives him big balls that's it .Pavlik is as fresh as lacy was the diffrence is kelly beat better comp. JC vs RJJ as an interesting exhibition fight. JC is shot and I hate seeing shot old fighter getting exploited by younger overhyped fighters coming up.
