has to be someone he could realistically face in the next 12 months.

In my eyes, any of the following would be a pretty good addition to his record.

    Juarez
    Linares
    Valero
Barrera (if he can come in shape at 130)
    Vasquez
    Soto
    Gamboa
    Luevano
    Antillon
    Guerrero
    JuanMa
    Caballero

Just saw his fight from last saturday and he looks dominant but as always against less than stellar opposition.

    Please :rofl

You overrate this boy too much.

After losing pretty handily to Marquez and robbing him of the decision I think they all beat his ass.

Start forgetting about him because he hasn't done anything, and will not ever do anything. :deal

I think a fight with Linares seems to be the most probable fight. They have both residence in Asia, and it would be good for the both of them.

Juarez, Luevano, Soto, and Guerrero would be the most impressive wins because they are around his size, while the rest would have to move up to face him. Gamboa is too green to mean much and Barrera is probably a bit too shot himself.

He is really not that bad of a fighter, people base their opinion to much on the Marquez fight.

He dominated Gainer when he was still capable and the last guy he beat was an ok contender (He held a win over Skinny Hussein). He hasnt really dropped the ball in any other fight Ive seen, albeit against average opposition but not terrible, just average.

He is a chance against anyone at featherweight, mostly because it has been weakened in recent times.

Id probably like to see him fight Luevano or move up. He really is not a T.V fighter and does not deserve a shot at anyone more established then that.

I disagree that JMM was robbed, but nonetheless i'm surprised you think that losing to JMM is a sign that any of the guys on that list would "beat his ass".

It seems i give JMM more credit than you do.

Wow man your at 49 post per day!....Back to the subject, I think Gamboa if he catches John early can KO him but if it goes rounds I could see John possibly winning a close decision.

Yeah, I must say I've been very consistent on ESB lately. :D

Back to the subject, I really think if John would go and fight in the US vs most of the fighters in Pharaoh's list, people would respect him more, and maybe he could win some new fans outside friggin' Indonesia.

Obviously the guy is content to fight average opposition in his country. I'd say that is a waste of talent (he does have talent and skills), he should at least test himself, if he is to claim "he will be remembered as the greatest featherweight of all time"... :-(

If I'm John I'd pick Rocky Juarez to fight out of that group.

Juarez has proven that he's clueless as to handle movement.
The MAB rematch more than proved it.....poor Rocky could'nt pull the trigger and just followed MAB.

.....realistically aside from Juarez, for the reason given, anyone of those fights would be a good win for John, because as of yet, he has'nt proven he belongs with the top tier!

John-Juarez has been the rumor, and it's a fight I'd like to see happen. Enoki isn't bad competition though. Better than the guys the other 126 pound titlists have been facing in their recent fights (Dib, Litzau, Santiago, Diaz, Aoh, etc.).

Any top rated guy at 126. Enoki isn' too shabby though. Linares and Guerrero both moved to 130 so that leaves fights with Luevano, Cristobal Cruz who just beat Salido for the IBF belt, and Mario Santiago.

He should unify with Oscar Larios...it makes sense. Larios can't fight in the U.S so a fight in Indonesia is possible.... and John should beat him easy.
