this thing where so many americans give a fighter more credit for beating anyone in america than that very same fighter outside america has got to stop. Its rediculous.

Do you mean he's been paying judges in Japan, Australia and Thailand?

I'll pick Soto in that list. Soto has been impressive and in the limelight lately. So he is the name that can propell Cris John's name into the cream of the top group . . . that is . . . if Cris John can beat him.

Luevano would expose him the same way he did against the australian guy. Dib was his name right?

just saw on TV today that his trainer and manager said Chris John next match will not be in Indonesia..so either in Mexico Or USA and unification will be CJ number 1 choice! if its a unification then CJ will fight against Cristobal Cruz and if its not a unification probably a fight against Juarez in USA

John can fight. He just needs some exposure. He has a style where he moves a lot and has fast hands. He can bang when he has to, but no network is willing to invest in him, and he does make decent money where he fights at. Khaosai Galaxy had that same problem, but he is in the h.o.f so maybe John doesn't think he needs America.

He's legit in my eyes already...beating JMM is good enough for me. No matter how you scored it..the fight was close and if you have a close fight with JMM it means you have to be a VERY good fighter.

I can gurantee that this Gamboa would not win a fight with Chris John right now....I actually see John winning by KO with the lack of defense Gam shows us presently.
