Machida is the best option at the moment but I don't give him that much of a chance, just better than the rest. Really, I don't think we've seen the guy to beat Jones in the UFC, yet. Not to say that he doesn't exist, just that there isn't anyone right now with the right set of tools.

However, if Jones has a shaky Chin, which I haven't seen anything thus far to indicate, then there are several guys who could potentially topple him.

You think Glass Jawed Nog who moves at Frankenstein speed would succeed in K-1, which is far more ridiculous than thinking that Machida can beat Jones. You have a Glass Brain and are a disgrace to fight fans.:patsch

It doesn't matter who he trains with, he's never going to have the sort of takedown defense to compete with wrestlers who have been rolling on mats since they were four and five.

Well after getting wrestle ****ed by Mo you'd think he'd learn his lesson, but he still got taken down by a half concious Jardine.

If you think it's that easy to learn wrestling, you should bump some of the James Toney threads

Of course it's that easy right? I suppose he's so far down the pecking order at LHW he's got a good few years to become a wrestling savant. Out wrestling Jones worked well for life long practitioners in Bader and Hammil

Jones takedowns from the clinch are based on the insane amount of leverage those Stretch Armstrong limbs grant him. No amount of Team Quest training will counter this physical advantage

GSP is a freakish athlete. Out of all the guys that idiots on forums claim would own if they'd just magically absorb Olympic wrestling techniques through osmosis, GSP is the only guy who has done it to that extent.

Secondly, no one has to gargle Jones' balls to hype him up. The dude is ****ing amazing and anyone with two eyes can see that he's got as much or more talent than anybody to ever lace them up.

And last, but certainly not least, Nog in K-1. The guy's hands are slower than ****, his Chin is completely shot, he has no mobility, can't kick for ****, and you actually think that he has a decent shot in K-1.:patsch If Glass Jawed Schaub hurt him, and he most definitely did, then Badr Hari would kill him before Nog's jello punches could even get near his own Jelly Jaw.

You're a fool, a tool, a mong, and a disgrace to any humanity. If you have a firearm present I would advise that you load it, give the barrel a blow job, and gently squeeze the trigger for a quality money shot.

If Machida refuses to engage, which will most likely be the case, he could be a hard style for Jones to figure out. Machida is very strong, has good take down defense, and will probably avoid the clinch at all cost. I also think Machida would have a definite edge in striking, especially with Jones being the aggressor.
